holds year-end awards ceremony
Summit Academy held its year-end awards ceremony last Thursday. Students earning A Honor Roll were: Taylor Lustig, Jessie Sonnen, David Wassmuth, Jade Prigge, Erin Wassmuth, Pierce Frei and Audra Spencer. Students earning A-B Honor Roll were: Kayla Rehder, Erin Chmelik, Alexis Currier, Matthew Seubert, Dani Sonnen, Torry Chmelik, Makayla Rose, Luke Stubbers, Cody Wassmuth, Noah Beckman, Levi Wassmuth, Noelle Chmelik, Rachel Sonnen, Raylie Warren, Julia Wassmuth, Sarah Waters, Connor Nuxoll, Thomas Rose, Ellie Lovetere, Catherine Seubert, Nathan Wassmuth, Catherine Beckman, Brianne Nuxoll, Madeline Wassmuth, Clayton Baldwin, John Paul Seubert, William Sonnen, Joseph Waters, Gretel Frei, Kolby Nuxoll, Madeline Stubbers. Students who earned the Presidential Level during physical fitness day were also awarded certificates: Torry Chmelik, Blake Aiken, Noelle Chmelik, Raylie Warren, Julia Wassmuth, Sarah Waters, Catherine Seubert, Audrey Warren, Nathan Wassmuth, Pierce Frei, Cecilia Remacle, Joseph Waters, Gretel Frei, Brooklynn Spencer. Catherine Beckman received an award for perfect attendance through the entire year. Additionally, two families were recognized for winning the hike-a-thon fundraising contests. Connor, Brianne and Kolby Nuxoll received the highest number of pledges while Jessie, Dani, Rachel, Will and Tessa Sonnen received the highest dollar amount in pledges. The student body reached their overall goal in the hike-a-thon fundraiser and enjoyed their hike at the monastery which took place in early May. The school continues its transition to St. John Bosco Academy with the change officially taking place on July 1st. |
