3 earn medals at Lewis & Clark Summer Games
3 local people earned medals at the recently completed Lewis & Clark Summer Games held at several sites in the Lewiston-Clarkston area.
Megan Wilson in the 50-54 year women’s age group, was the biggest winner and competed in the most events. She competed in 15 events and won 15 gold medals. 
 On Monday, June 17 she won both the 5K and 10K Time Trials in Cycling. On Friday, June 21 in swimming at the Aquatic Center in Asotin, she won the 50, 100, 200 and 400 meter freestyle races, the 50 and 100 meter backstrokes, and the 50, 100 and 200 meter breaststrokes. On Saturday at Vollmer Bowl in Lewiston she won the 800 meter, 1600 meter and 5000 meter running events. She also won the 3000 meter race-walking event.
Larry Seubert checked in with 7 golds and 1 silver in 8 events in the 65-69 year old men’s age group. On Tuesday, June 17 at Lancer Lanes he won the singles in bowling and partnered up with Greg Wherry in doubles (they had to compete in Wherry’s age group of 60-64 year old men) to win. On Friday in swimming at the Aquatic Center he earned 5 golds and 1 silver. He took 2nd in the 50 meter freestyle and won the 100, 200 and 400 meter freestyle, the 50 meter backstroke and the 50 meter breaststroke.
Wherry picked up a second gold medal by winning the men’s singles in bowling in the 60-64 year old men’s age group.
