Matt Maher to be in concert at All Saints
All Saints Catholic School is pleased to present Matt Maher, contemporary Christian songwriter and recording artist, in concert on Friday, August 9th. All proceeds from the concert will go toward the All Saints Catholic School building project. All Saints opened a new pre-K through 6th grade school last year and as part of the master plan to expand Catholic education through the middle school years, they will be adding 7th grade this fall and 8th grade the following school year.
Doors open at 5:45 p.m., with the concert starting at 6:30 p.m.. The concert will be held in All Saints Catholic Church and is open to the public. Advance tickets are $20 each or $18 each for groups of six and can be purchased online through the www.itickets.com website. You can also purchase tickets by calling 1-800-965-9324. Tickets will be $25 at the door.
Since his 2008 major label debut, Matt Maher has become a staple in the artistic and songwriting community. He was asked to sing for both Pope Benedict and Pope Francis, singing before a crowd of nearly 4 million at World Youth Day in 2013. He has performed with several leading Christian singers including MercyMe, Michael W. Smith, Kelly Clarkson, Third Day, tobyMac, Meredith Andrew and Phil Stacey. Along with writing his own music, Maher’s songwriting abilities have been tapped by numerous artists including Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, Casting Crowns, Crowder and Jars of Clay.
Matt Maher is a two-time Broadcast Music Inc. Songwriter of the Year and in 2015 was named Nashville Songwriters Association International’s Songwriter of the Year. Along with nine Grammy Award nominations, he has also been nominated for more than 20 Gospel Music Association Dove awards. He has written and produced nine solo albums to date and three of his albums have reached the Top 25 Christian Albums billboard chart, along with four of his singles reaching the Top 25 Christian Songs chart. Matt has garnered multiple radio successes, including Your Grace Is Enough, Because He Lives (Amen), Lord I Need You, and All the People Said Amen.
