This class teaches how to use your phone to advantage, how to pack smarter, and ways to prepare ahead so your vacation does what it’s meant to do – help you relax and have fun.
A Taste of the Prairie
Sat. Oct. 5th; 9am - 1pm

Explore popular sites of the Camas Prairie and enjoy a few treats along the way. Upon arriving in Grangeville, the morning begins with a fresh pastry at Crema Cafe, samples of cauliflower crust pizza and microbrews while touring Jungle Gym, and then peeking into the old tunnel under the Grangeville city sidewalks. The journey continues to see one of Cottonwood’s newest businesses, Seubert's RV Park, and ends at the Monastery where free-trade chocolate will be sampled after walking to the grotto.
Faux Marble Painting
Tues Oct. 8th; 6-8pm

If you have an unsightly cement wall, a boring patio slab, or an outdated countertop, this hands-on class will show how they can be painted to look like granite, stone or marble. The instructor provides a primered surface for each student, as well as paint, brushes, feathers, and other items to teach how using different products can change the look of your project. Registration closes October 2nd so please register early.
Spanish & Culture II
Mon & Weds, Oct. 14 – Nov. 6 (8 classes); 3:30 – 5pm
By:  Francisca Garner; Cost: $45
This course is for people who have either completed the Beginning Spanish I course, or have some exposure to Spanish language pronunciation. The course will start on Chapter 5 of "Learning Spanish, Step by Step". Time will be spent on pronunciation, translation, and conversation. Some culture and food tasting will also take place.
