This is Homecoming Week
This is Homecoming Week at Prairie.
All week long the students have themed dress up days.
Monday, each class had a different theme.
Tuesday was Twin Day.
Wednesday was Hobo Day.
Thursday is Career Day.
Friday is Spirit Day.
Wednesday evening there are several activities. The Powderpuff Football game is set to start at 6 p.m. at the football field.  The boys “powderpuff’ volleyball will be in the Elementary School gym at about 7:30. 
The Burning of the P will take place at the football field, weather permitting.
On Friday the Homecoming Parade will be held. The parade will form up at Gem Builders starting at about 5:45 with the parade set to start at 6 p.m. It will go down Main Street then turn up King Street to go toward the football field. At St. Mary’s Church the Elementary School children will join the parade.
At 7 p.m. Prairie will play Kendrick.
At halftime the Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned and the float winners will be announced, as will the winners in the weeklong Spirit Competition.
