Homecoming competitions
The 4 high school grades had a weeklong competition with age winding up as the deciding factor. 
Points were assigned to various activities and it came down to a tie between the seniors and the sophomore with the seniors getting the tiebreaker nod.
In the Wednesday evening Powderpuff competitions the Sophomore-Junior girls football team edged the Senior-Freshman team 20-14. Cici Chavez scored the tiebreaking, and winning, touchdown with 50 seconds left on the clock.
In the boys volleyball competition the senior class edged the sophomores 19-17 in a winner-take all final match.
Earlier the seniors beat the freshmen and the juniors beat the sophomores. 
The sophomores then eliminated the freshmen to start their comeback. 
The seniors beat the juniors then the sophomores avenged their earlier loss and ousted the juniors.
The sophomores needed to beat the seniors twice to claim the championship. They won the first matchup then lost the finale.
In the float competition during the Homecoming Parade the sophomores had the winning float with the seniors second, the juniors third and the freshmen fourth.
Other competitions held during the week included each dress-up day with points based on the percentage of the class participating and extra points for the class that had the individual dress-up winners.
There was also a hall decorating competition with each class given a portion of the high school to decorate.

The Seniors float took second in the float competition.

The Juniors float took third.

The Freshmen float took 4th.

The cheerleaders led the parade and apparently walked the entire parade route.

The PHS band got to ride through the parade on a trailer.

A large group of Elementary School youngsters joined the parade at the Catholic Church.
