medals at Potlatch Invitational
A new meet for the Prairie Crosscountry team was the Potlatch Invitational held at Scenic 6 State Park Tuesday, October 15. Prairie had 7 girls running and finished in 4th place as a team. Ciara Chaffee finished in 4th place in the girls race in a time of 21:55. Kyleigh Duclos was 14th in 23:16 with Jessie Sonnen placing 22nd in 24:46. Mattie Lustig was 25th in 25:52. Leann Lightfield was 30th in 26:47. Jacey Rambo was 35th in 29:08 and Sierra Chapman was 38th in 31:33. Prairie had just 2 boys competing in the high school race due to injuries. William Hooper placed 26th in 19:38 and Justin Lockett was 66th in 22:41. In the junior high races Zoe Hooper placed 4th in 13:43 with Addie Crowl in 11th in 14:52. In the boys race Lee Forsmann was 13th in 14:15. Next action for Prairie is the District Meet which will be Thursday, Oct. 24 at the LCSC course near Ziggy’s in Lewiston. The boys race will start at 2 p.m. followed by the girls race at 2:45 p.m.
