Trueblood to be featured
The Ilo-Vollmer Historical Society in Craigmont is pleased have John Trueblood, a PA in the Craigmont Clinic of St. Mary’s Hospital, as their speaker when they host the Lewis County Historical Society meeting on Monday, November 18th at 1:00 p.m. in the Craigmont Community Hall.
John will speak about his grandfather, Ted Trueblood, an outdoor writer and conservationist, whose work was honored with several conservation awards.
In 1941, Ted became fishing editor of Field & Stream magazine and wrote articles for them for many years.  Additionally, he wrote several books, including The Angler's Handbook (1949), The Fishing Handbook (1951), On Hunting (1953), The Hunter's Handbook (1954), How to Catch More Fish (1955), Camping Handbook (1955), and The Ted Trueblood Hunting Treasury (1978).
Come early to get a plate of snacks and a cup of coffee or water and enjoy the program.  The Lewis County Historical Society will also have a business meeting on Monday.
