At Lewiston JV
The 93 points scored against the Lewiston JV is, we believe, a school record for a Prairie girls team. They’ve broken into the 80’s several times over the years but we think this was their first time ever over 90 points.
Ellea Uhlenkott puts up a shot against the Lewiston JV.Peery and Shears combined for 49 points in the effort as Peery scored 27 and Shears 22. Those two got Prairie going in the first quarter as Prairie scored 16 straight points after it was tied at 2-2. Shears had 7 and Peery 4 in that run. For the quarter Peery scored 10 and Shears 9 as Prairie took a 27-12 lead.

Chaffee got things started in the third quarter for Prairie with a 3-pointer.
Lewiston tried to cut into the deficit but each time Prairie would have an answer and the Lady Pirates wound up adding to their lead as they outscored the Bengals 24-16 in the period.
In the fourth quarter Peery scored 2 free throws and a basket for a 73-43 lead with 7:15 left but the running clock was not invoked. Possibly the scorekeeper didn’t realize it was 30 points? Lewiston then scored the next 5 points and the game went on as usual. Prairie wound up outscoring the Bengals 24-21 in the final period for their 29 point victory.
Prairie had 4 players score in double figures led by Peery with 27. She was 10 for 15 from the field with one 3-pointer. Shears scored 22 on 8 for 15 shooting with a 3-pointer.
