Lady Pirates win at Kamiah
The Prairie Lady Pirates played 3 league road games this past week and won 2 out of the 3. They didn’t start so well as Lapwai completed a season sweep 42-60 at Lapwai Thursday, Jan. 16. On Friday, Jan. 17, they traveled to Potlatch and blitzed the Loggers 92-37. Finally on Monday, Jan. 20, they traveled to Genesee to make up a postponed game and won 71-56.
The win at Genesee essentially clinched a second place finish in league for Prairie. The Pirates would have to lose all three of their remaining league games to drop to third.
