the date - Idaho County YWCA Auction
It’s time again to start thinking about the annual YWCA Auction to raise funds to benefit victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Idaho County. The 6th annual auction event is scheduled for Sunday, April 19th at 2pm at Cottonwood Community Hall. Lunch will be available for purchase at noon. Come early to check out all the great items and plan your bidding. This is a “purse” style auction with many of the auction items being various bags and containers filled with a variety of great items. We are seeking donations of purses, totes, tool bags, gift certificates, and various items to fill a purse/tote. Are you a crafter who could donate some of your handcrafted items? We would love to hear from you. Anything from earrings to furniture is always well-received. Cash donations are also greatly appreciated. All donations are tax deductible. As always, we will have some great packages and items up for bid. Some of the donations that have already rolled in include a raft trip on the Lochsa, 4 jet boat tickets on the Snake River, two tickets to the Idaho Shakespeare Festival in Boise and many other fun experiences and items. Donations can be left at The Hangout in Cottonwood, Cottonwood Credit Union in Cottonwood, Craigmont, Nezperce or Kooskia, LeAnne’s Flower Shop in Grangeville or the YWCA office in Grangeville or Kamiah.
