Governor Little’s Vow to Support Medicaid Expansion: A Dilemma
Since nothing enters the public treasury for the benefit of one citizen without the forceful taking from another citizen, I am unable to reconcile how financially injuring some in order to financially ‘help’ others is sustainable.   I don’t care if 60% of voters said,” It’s okay to take money from the homes of our neighbors as long as you use it for medical reasons”.  I still wouldn’t do it!   Even if it’s “well intended”, I believe that while I should support government protecting individual property, government should never temporally support the people.  This isn’t harsh.  Why? The moment government begins temporally supporting individual(s); favoritism enters the system.  It then sprouts and grows like a noxious weed becoming a program, then an agency, then a bloated agency.  What follows is government that was originally instituted to protect property of individuals is now, by the force of law, used to take individual property to fund such benefits or favors.   Unless I am missing something, the accumulation of such programs cause citizens of Idaho to suddenly, with the stroke of the pen, become tributary servants of the State.  And, the State of Idaho fades from a constitutional republic towards totalitarian rule.  This would be harsh, or you may say ‘silly’!  Before deciding, learn what percent of Idaho’s budget supports agencies that depend on social programs, and are these programs growing or disappearing?

Redneck Review!
No. 249 - 2/3/2020
The days pass by, and decision time looms closer!  Starting this week we are told that state primaries and caucuses will begin the slow process of determining who will be the candidates for president in November.  In the Republican party, the choice is already clear!  It will be President Trump, running for a second term,  promising to continue the programs he campaigned on last election.  Of course, there is a major obstacle!  The three year old effort by Democrats to get him out of office would succeed, if the current impeachment trial in the Senate would go against him. A 2/3rds vote, requiring 67 in favor, would remove him from his office before the election this fall, but it is not going to happen! The 53 Republican majority in the Senate would require a large number of them to turn against him and join the 45 Democrats and a couple of Independents, who it is assumed would vote for his removal.
So what will be the decision each voter must make when voting time for president this fall? It is not the purpose of this review to promote either side,  But some things are very obvious, and should be well known by anyone who has followed the news and what has happened in past years.  It should be quite clear because of Pres Trump's record, and the many debates being held publicly by his hopeful Democrat opponents. So what are some critical issues?
1) Abortion - In my case,  a critical difference.  On the democratic side, every candidate has gone on record to continue legal abortions! In some cases, candidates have expressed their approval of recent decisions allowing a child from a botched abortion to die unattended. In extreme cases, abortion advocates have agreed that a doctor and a mother might agree to terminate the life of a botched but living child. HORRENDOUS!  It is bluntly said here that this position puts its advocates in the same class as all brutal murderers of the past.  History has condemned Hitler, Stalin and many others of the same crime. But the U.S. abortion statistics today, count over 3000 babies in the womb snuffed out daily in our country, some by the most brutal methods, means that our U.S.A has tolerated more slaughter of innocents,  50 million or so, since Roe vs. Wade, than any single  person in the historical past!
Watch the movie UNPLANNED, (or read the book), of the Planned Parent official whose witness of ONE abortion being performed made her so horrified, that she quit the business and is now leading a nation wide effort (as are others) to close all abortion clinics!
And even though the liberal press and TV have refused to note it, It has become common knowledge that President Trump IS THE FIRST PRESIDENT EVER TO ATTEND AND TO SPEAK AT THE ANNUAL RIGHT TO LIFE RALLY held in our capitol. This should tell all readers where my vote for president will go this fall!  Absolutely no choice!
2) There are other issues!  Under President Trump, hundreds of regulations strangling our businesses have been reversed! Also well known, our economy is thriving, unemployment is at an all time low, our taxes reduced, our stock market setting new records, the flow of illegal immigrants and drugs into our nation have been reduced. And more than 150 new judges,  appointed and confirmed under Trump's administration, suggests that many disastrous laws and policies of the past, like Roe v. Wade, are subject to repeal!
Not so well known is the current effort on the part of federal prosecutors to indict and convict dozens of politicians who have used their positions in government to acquire money illegally, and to participate in disgusting activities like child trafficking and sex trade!  Keep your eye and ears on the news as many of these disgusting details are being brought to light!
