Ag Day event is cancelled
National Agriculture Dayis a day that is designated each year by the Agriculture Council of America to celebrate the accomplishments of agriculture and spotlights the hard work of American producers who diligently work to provide food, fiber and more to the United States and countries around the world.
American farmers and ranchers are working harder than ever, and it shows. The need for food produced in the United State is dramatic.  Current statistics show that each American farmer feeds more than 165 people. Agriculture is this nation's #1 export and vitally important in sustaining a healthy economy.
Idaho County Farm Service Agencywas planning an Ag Appreciation Day luncheon at the Grangeville office on Tuesday, March 24th, but due to concerns over COVID-19 and wanting to keep everyone as healthy as possible, the National Office has asked USDA to curtail activities greater than 50 people.  Due to these circumstances, our event has been cancelled.
