| Cross Country at Nezperce The high school boys were the only group able to field a full team at the Nezperce Invitational Cross Country Meet held Thursday, Sept. 10. The boys team finished third behind Potlatch and Troy with Tyler Wemhoff as the top finisher in 7th place with a time of 20:59. Zack Rambo placed 11th in 21:59. Lee Forsmann placed 25th in 23:41.9. Blake Uptmor was 29th in 26:25. Justin Lockett was 32nd in 27:56.9. Connor Brown was 33rd in 29:57. Zane Uptmor was 34th in 33:53 and Morgan Poxleitner was 35th in 33:54. The high school girls team had just 4 runners able to compete with Kerri Villamor as the top finisher in 12th in 27:21. Leann Lightfield wasn’t far behind Villamor as she placed 14th in 28:33. Katteri Duman was 21st in 30:50 and Meghan Fowler was 26th in 36:34. Mattie Lustig and Kyleigh Duclos were unable to compete. The junior high girls team was led by Rebecca Seubert, who placed 5th in 13:29. Ashlyn North was 7th in 14:36. Alaina Lustig was 12th in 15:02 and Clarise Rehder was 15th in 17:06. Morgan Pack was unable to compete. Kaden Duclos was the top finisher for the junior high boys as he placed 5th in 12:08. Cole Duclos placed 13th in 14:15. Ben Secrest started the race but had to retire due to an injury. The next meet for the team is this Thursday, Sept. 17 at Troy. The Jr. High girls race starts at 4 p.m. The Jr. High boys at 4:25. The high school girls start at 4:50 and the high school boys at 5:30 p.m.  The start of the boys high school cross country race at Nezperce.
