Vs. Kamiah
In the tri-match format, Prairie had a match off while Kamiah played C.V. That may have contributed to the slow start against the Kubs as Kamiah scored first and never trailed in the opening game. The Kubs led by as many as 9 points at 11-20 and wound up winning by 8.
Kamiah also scored the first two points of the second game before Prairie got going. Schlader scored a kill and Lockett followed with 4 straight aces to give Prairie their first lead of the match at 5-2. Ali Rehder digs up a serve against Kamiah as Laney Forsmann watches.

Wemhoff and Forsmann each had 2 point service runs in their final 12 points of the match showing it was the Prairie defense being able to side out Kamiah’s serves that kept the Pirates moving toward the win.
