At Logos
Prairie won in 4 tough games at Logos 29-27, 13-25, 25-23, 25-14.
In the opening game Prairie started like they were going to blow Logos out of their own gym as they jumped out to a 12-3 lead. Josie Remacle goes up for a spike at Logos.

After Logos scored a pair of points, Remacle scored a sideout kill and Olivia Klapprich served up 2 aces for a 12-3 lead.

Logos took their first lead at 19-20 and then after Prairie took back the lead on a tip by Schlader at 21-20, Logos scored 4 points to get to game point at 21-24.
A kill by Martinez put Klapprich on the service line in a pressure situation. She serve and ace then Laney Forsmann scored a kill and Klapprich scored another ace to make it 25-24.

A hitting error by Prairie gave Logos another game point chance at 26-27. Kristin Wemhoff scored a kill to tie it and send Martinez to the service line. A dig by Wemhoff led to a second touch, back row kill by Martinez to give Prairie a game point chance and then Martinez served up an ace to win it.
In the second game Logos came out and took it to the Pirates. It was close early but at 5-7, Logos scored a sideout and outscored Prairie 2-11 to take a 7-18 lead. The Knights then held off the Pirates to win by 12.
Logos threatened to take control of the match by starting the third game 0-3 and led 3-5 when they bricked a serve. Schlader went to the service line and put together a 7-point run to give Prairie an 11-5 lead. She had 3 aces while Wemhoff had 2 kills, Martinez had 1 kill and Forsmann scored on a block.
Logos rallied back to within 1 point at 18-17. A kill by Wemhoff for the sideout and 3 aces by Martinez put Prairie up 22-17. A missed spike led to a 6-point scoring run by Logos that put the Knights ahead 22-23.
At that point Locket scored a kill to tie it and Forsmann served an ace to give Prairie the lead. Alli Geis then scored the game winning kill to put Prairie up 2 games to 1.
In the fourth game it seemed Logos was starting to tire as they weren’t hitting the ball like the rest of the match and Prairie took advantage.

Forsmann had 6 kills, including a block, 1 assist and 3 aces. Remacle had 5 kills, including a block and 1 assist. Geis had r kills. Klapprich had 1 assist and 7 aces. Ali Rehder had 4 assists.
The JV team won their match 25-15, 14-25, 15-13.
Vs. Potlatch
ITrinity Martinez spikes the ball against Potlatch.n the match against Potlatch the Loggers dominated the Pirates as Prairie led just twice in the 3 games. At 4-3 in the second game and 1-0 in the third game.
In the opening game they never led but tied the score at 1-1 and 2-2. Potlatch then scored 4 straight points to take the lead for good.
Prairie stayed relatively close in the opening game until a missed Prairie serve at 5-10 kicked off a 7 point run by Potlatch.
Prairie’s only run after that came too late as Prairie scored a sideout to make it 11-24 then Schlader served 4 straight winners before missing a serve to end the game. Laney Forsmann had a pair of kills in that run while Trinity Martinez had a kill and Schlader an ace.
The second game saw Prairie fall behind 0-3 before a kill by Schlader put Prairie on the board. Two aces by Lockett and a kill by Martinez gave Prairie their first lead of the night at 4-3.
Potlatch then built leads of 6-12 and 9-18 before Prairie rallied back within 4 at 15-19.

The C team lost both of their games 20-25, 20-25.
At Troy
The match at Troy saw the Trojans dominate from the start.
In the first game it appeared the Pirates might get shut out as Troy opened the match with 17 straight points before Lockett scored a kill to end the run.
When you’re down by 17 before you get a chance to serve, you’re not likely to win the game. Prairie wound up scoring 5 in the game, all on sideouts as they had no serving points and didn’t even make a full rotation at the service line.
The second game started better. Troy scored the first point then Prairie scored on a missed serve and with Lockett serving a tip by Forsmann for the Pirates’ first lead of the night.
Troy took back the lead but Prairie got 3 straight kills from Martinez for a 6-4 lead. Troy tied it and a kill by Wemhoff gave them one final lead at 7-6 before Troy took control, outscoring Prairie 8-19 the rest of the game.
Prairie never led in the third game as Troy jumped out to a 0-4 lead and never looked back.
A highlight of the third game was when Forsmann blocked one of Troy superstar outside hitter Morgan Blazzard’s hard-hit spikes.
Martinez led Prairie in kills with 7 plus 1 assist. Schlader had 3 kills, 5 assists and 1 ace. Lockett had 3 kills and 2 aces. Forsmann had 2 kills including the aforementioned block. Wemhoff had 2 kills and 8 assists. Geis had a kill and Klapprich had an assist.
Prairie is now 4-2 on the season and in league play.
