Whatsoever Things Are True

A while back, we talked about how the Bible admonishes us to "not remove the ancient landmarks" Prov. 22:28.   We discussed how we (society) have evolved from "Traditionalism" (up until the influence of Darwinism) where God determines truth, to Modernism (60s - mid 90s) where Science would determine truth; and now we reside in "Post-Modernism" where -wait for it - There is no truth.  Many dismissed this thesis off hand as they either deny it or choose not to recognize it.  But let's do a little examining shall we?  When a High school counselor can tell a male student he can be a woman, and proceeds to prescribe or encourage a regimen of powerful steroids in a vain attempt to facilitate the fantasy as such ---- all absent of the parents consent or even knowledge, and when said parent complains about said delusion, the parent is the bad guy, we have lost our collective minds. When my President stands up and boldly espouses as fact that a Male Admiral is suddenly, spontaneously a woman and the collective masses applaud, We have lost our collective minds. When we would even contemplate rewarding people who broke the law by illegally coming  into our country with near a half million dollars, we have lost our collective mind.  I'm not hating, and I'm not venting. This is simply an observation. When 52% of professing Christians don't believe in a literal Hell, We have lost ............. Well you get it.  For the record, Jesus talked about Hell 7 times for every time He talked about heaven.  "Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men." 2nd Cor. 5:11.   In Matt. 10:28 Jesus tells us in third person, not to fear those who can take our life, but fear Him (Jesus) who can take your life and destroy your soul in hell.   What's the point?   Psalm 11:3 asks: "If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?"   Folks inherently know there is something fundamentally wrong with the world today, and they are afraid.   Well don't be. We can lament for our beloved country; I do, but remember - Things are not falling apart, they are falling into place.  The Anti-Christ is coming, and before he comes (2nd Thes. 2) there must be a great falling away (apostasy) and "the one who restrains (the Holy Spirit) must be taken out of the way. Are we not seeing a great falling away?
Whatever shall we do?  Well, if this paper isn't censured and if I am not cancelled, next week we will begin to examine "Remaining Stable in an Unstable World". We'll identify some practical - applicable steps we can take to preserve our Spiritual Sanity.  Looking forward to it, and God bless.
