Patriots lose to C.V.
The St. John Bosco Patriots hosted Clearwater Valley Tuesday, Jan. 4 and the boys and girls teams both lost. The boys lost 62-66 while the girls lost 34-64.
There are no details available from the boys game.
The girls played C.V. tough in the first quarter as they took a 16-13 lead into the second period.
The second quarter though was all C.V. as they outscored SJB 0-18 to take a 16-31 lead at the half.
C.V. outscored the Patriots 9-14 in the third quarter and 9-19 in the fourth to win by 30.
Jade Prigge led the Patriots in scoring with 15 points. Dani Sonnen was also in double figures with 11. Julia Wassmuth scored 5 and Sarah Waters scored 3.
The boys team is now 4-3 on the season while the girls are 0-6.
The league games scheduled for Jan. 6 against Timberline were postponed due to school closures that day.
