Thank you from the Prairie Storm
The Prairie Storm 6th grade girls’ basketball team wrapped up their season with a 1st place trophy at the Idaho Catholic Schools Invitational in Boise this past weekend.  They went 5-0 at the tournament and finished the season with a 19-5 overall record.
We would like to thank all of our sponsors and supporters; without everyone’s contributions, the season would not have been a success.  Pacific Cabinets, along with Casey and Stephanie Forsmann purchased our uniforms and warm-up shirts.  Chris and Andrea Brannan purchased team basketballs and a personalized ball bag.  Mark and Stacy Anderson/Anderson Logging covered our gym fees.  Steve Wilson, Tanner Ross, Kris Shears, Zach and Briggs Rambo, Lane Schumacher and Noah Behler who officiated our home games. Denise Uhlenkott for all of her time and effort in helping us schedule and reschedule gym time.  Megan and Jason Rambo, Andrea Brannan, and Julie Schumacher who all took turns keeping book.  The team parents (and even some sisters) who helped staff the concession stand and run the game clock.  Meagan Rambo, Andrea Brannan, and Kristi Cash were especially instrumental in making sure the concession stand and gym were in tip-top shape after we used them.  Thank you all!
We would like to thank all of the parents for being flexible with ever-changing practice times and locations.  Thank you for being so generous with your time and your efforts in making sure all of the girls made it to practices and games for these past four months.  The girls are lucky to have dedicated parents like you.  We would also like to thank siblings, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and other fans that supported and cheered on this special group of girls.  Special shout-out to Wayne Forsmann for bringing some of these girls down to Lewiston last summer for a shooting camp.  The success of our local youth sports comes from the commitment, dedication, and support of all of you.
Lastly, we want to thank these girls for being fun, crazy, competitive, coachable, dedicated, eager, loud, talented, wild, entertaining, enthusiastic…we could go on and on.  Just an incredible group of girls.
