Track team competes at 2 meets
The Prairie track team competed in a pair of track meets this past week. They were at the White Pine League Meet Saturday, April 23 at Kamiah and then at a meet they hosted Monday, April 25.
The Prairie Meet was moved from Tuesday, April 26 to Monday due to expected heavy rains on Tuesday.
White Pine Meet
Shane Hanson and Zach Rambo each won individual events while the boys 4x100 and girls 4x200 relays each won at the White Pine Meet at Kamiah. Zach Rambo won the 200 at the Prairie Meet Monday.
Hanson won the discus with a mark of 137’11”, a new personal best. He was also 6th in the high jump at 5’2” and 19th in the 100 at 13.08.
Rambo won the long jump with a personal best of 18’10” and was also 2nd in the 400 at 52.58 and 3rd in the 200 at 24.22.
The boys 4x100 tea of Jesse Cronan, T.J. Hibbard, Noah Geis and Rambo won with a time of 47.41.
The girls 4x200 team of Alli Geis, Aubree Rehder, Julia Rehder and Kristin Wemhoff won in a time of 1:53.16.
In other boys results Hibbard was 2nd in the discus at 133’10” and 5th in the 100 in 12.13.
Geis was 6th in the 400 in 55.90, 8th in the 100 in 12.36 and 23rd in the discus at 74’7½”.
Bennie Elven was 4th in the discus at 117’2¼” and 32nd in the 200 in 28.13.
Lee Forsmann was 5th in the discus at 115’½” and tied for 11th in the long jump at 15’4½”.
Brody Hasselstrom was 6th in the discus at 113’6½”.
Briggs Rambo was 7th in the 100 hurdles in 22.77 , 8th in the 300 hurdles in 52.92 and 22nd in the long jump at 14’2”.
Matt Wemhoff was 9th in the high jump at 4’8” and tied for 11th in the long jump at 15’4½”.
Zane Uptmor was 19th in the discus at 80’9¾” and 30th in the 200 in 28.10.
Drake Cronan was 26th in the discus at 67’2”, 31st in the 400 in 1:06.22 and 43rd in the 100 in 14.06.
The 4x200 team of Elven, Forsmann, Uptmor and Hanson finished 8th in 1:48.02.
The medley relay team of Elven, Forsmann, Uptmor and Drake Cronan finished 6th in 4:18.92.
As a team the boys placed 3rd with 83 points behind Kamiah and Logos.
In other girls results Wemhoff was 2nd in 3 events. The 100 in 13.20, the 200 in 27.09 and the 400 in 1:00.76.
Julia Rehder was 4th in the long jump at 13’7”.
Geis was 8th in the 400 in 1:08.25.
Elizabeth Severns was 8th in the discus at 74’3”, 13th in the 100 hurdles in 24.50 and 17th in the shot put at 22’8”.
Olivia Klapprich was 9th in the long jump at 12’8½” and 20th in the 200 in 34.05.
Ashlyn North was 10th in the 100 hurdles in 21.91, 21st in the 200 in 34.49, 21st in the long jump at 10’5¼” and 27th in the 100 in 15.78.
Rebecca Seubert was 12th in the 100 hurdles in 23.12 and 24th in the long jump at 9’9”.
Aubree Rehder was 12th in the 100 in 14.72.
Harlee Brannan was 13th in the discus at 69’1”, 22nd in the shot at 18’10½” and 23rd in the long jump at 9’9½”.
Meghan Fowler was 16th in the discus at 67’4” and 24th in the shot put at 18’2½”.
Morgan Pack was 18th in the 400 in 1:27.16; 29th in the 200 in 38.17 and 35th in the 100 in 17.53.
Holli Schumacher was 19th in the 200 in 33.38 and 31st in the 100 in 16.55.
The medley team of Geis, Seubert, Julia Rehder and Aubree Rehder placed 2nd in 2:08.37.
The 4x100 team of Geis, Seubert, Aubree Rehder and Julia Rehder placed 4rd in 56.88.
The 4x400 relay team of Brannan, Fowler, Pack and Schumacher placed 5th in 5:33.82.
As a team the girls placed 4th with 59 points behind Logos, Troy and Kamiah.
Prairie Invite
Zach Rambo won 2 events and was second in another at the Prairie Invite that was moved up from Tuesday to Monday due to expected bad weather.
Rambo won the 100 meter dash in 11.55 and the 200 in 23.73. He was second in the long jump at 17’10¾”.
For the girls the 4x100 relay finished first with Geis, Julia Rehder, Aubree Rehder and Wemhoff recording a time of 53.95.
Other boys results:
Hanson was 2nd in the discus at 134’5”, 5th in the high jump at 5’4” and 20th in the 100 at 12.83.
Geis was 2nd in the 200 at 25.42, 7th in the 100 at 12.01 and 21st in the discus at 84’1½”.
Hibbard was 3rd in the 100 in 11.73 and 3rd in the discus at 133’5”.
Briggs Rambo was 3rd in the 100 hurdles in 23.42, 3rd in the 300 hurdles in 54.07 and 19th in the long jump at 13’4½”.
Hasselstrom was 6th in the discus at 118’4” and 15th in the 100 at 12.55.
Forsmann was 8th in the discus at 114’10”, 13th in the 200 in 27.67 and 14th in the long jump at 14’5¼”.
Wemhoff was 8th in the 200 in 26.52, 9th in the high jump at 5’0”, 10th in the long jump at 15’4½” and 18th in the 100 in 12.68.
Uptmor was 10th in the 400 in 1:02.90, 15th in the 200 in 28.55 and 15th in the discus at 95’6”.
Drake Cronan was 15th in the 400 in 1:07.78, 16th in the 200 in 29.03 and 23rd in the discus at 75’10”.
The 4x200 team of Drake Cronan, Briggs Rambo, Forsmann and Uptmor was 4th in 1:50.56.
The 4x100 team of Hasselstrom, Hibbard, Geis and Rambo appeared to finish first but had an illegal exchange.
As a team the boys placed 3rd with 83½ points.
In other girls results Wemhoff was 2nd in the 100 in 13.01, 2nd in the 200 in 26.59 and 3rd in the long jump at 13’8”.
Julia Rehder was 2nd in the long jump at 14’¼”, 4th in the 200 in 28.96 and 6th in the 100 in 14.02.
Sarah Lustig was 3rd in the discus at 81’6” and 14th in the shot put at 20’11”.
Severns was 4th in the discus at 80’3”, 8th in the 100 hurdles in 25.01 and 12th in the shot put at 21’9”.
Geis was 5th in the long jump at 13’2¼”, 6th in the 200 at 29.46 and 7th in the 100 in 14.21 .
North was 5th in the 100 hurdles in 21.35, 19th in the long jump at 10’11½” and 22nd in the 100 in 15.91.
Seubert was 7th in the 100 hurdles in 23.94, 12th in the 100 in 14.58 and 20th in the long jump at 10’8”.
Klapprich was 7th in the long jump at 12’11½” and 10th in the 200 in 33.45.
Schumacher was 9th in the 400 in 1:17.16, 11th in the 200 in 33.62 and 23rd in the 100 in 15.96.
Pack was 10th in the 400 in 1:25.98, 17th in the 200 in 39.69 and 28th in the 100 in 17.22.
Brannan was 10th in the discus at 69’0”, 18th in the long jump at 10’9½” and 18th in the shot put at 17’6”.
Aubree  Rehder was 15th in the 100 in 14.73 and 16th in the long jump at 10’11½”.
Fowler was 13th in the discus at 66’9” and 16th in the shot put at 19’11”.
The 4x200 relay of Brannan, Fowler, Lustig and Severns was third in 2:22.01.
The medley relay of North, Klapprich, Seubert and Aubree Rehder was 3rd in 2:11.26.
As a team the girls placed 3rd with 88½ pts.

Elven and Shears break school records
The Prairie Junior High track team has competed at 2 meets so far this season. On Tuesday, April 12 they were at Kamiah and on Thursday, April 21 they were at Cottonwood.

KMS Meet
Sage Elven won both the discus and shot put at the Kamiah Middle School Track meet held Tuesday, April 12.
She won the discus with a school record mark of 103’10½” using the same size discus as the high school girls. She won the shot put with a mark of 31’9” and was also 5th in the 200 meter dash in 31.69.
Sierra Oliver also had a first place finish in the 200 with a time of 30.78 and was third in the 100 in 14.75.
The girls also won the 4x200 and 4x400 relays as they took first in the team competition with 130½ pts.
The 4x200 team of Avery Riener, Breanne Schwartz, Lacey Schwartz and Oliver had a time of 2:06.31. the 4x400 team of Breanne Schwartz, Lacey Schwartz, Elven and Sydney Shears won in a time of 2:26.50.
The top finisher for the boys team was Ben Secrest who took second in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:03.46. He also took 4th in the 200 in 28.50 and 5th in the high jump at 4’10”.
The boys team placed 5th out of 10 team with 48½ pts.

In the 100 meter dash Nadia Cash was 9th in 15.06; Kennedy Riener was 12th in 15.18; Avery Riener was 21st in 15.75; Lillian Rehder was 27th in 16.03; Hailey Hanson was 36th in 16.41; Ella McLeod was 39th in 16.62 and Carmen Ove was 59th in 17.59.
In the 200 meter dash Kennedy Riener was 6th in 31.97; Erica Schlader was 14th in 33.50; Avery Riener was 15th in 33.78; Rehder was 17th in 33.94; Hanson was 21st in 35.38; Olivia Uhlenkott was 22nd in 35.59; McLeo was 32nd in 38.22 and Ove was 34th in 39.18.
In the 400 meter dash Aubree Geis was 4th in 1:15.97; Uhlenkott as 5th in 1:16.07; Kylee Riggers was 7th in 1:16.97; Breanne Schwartz was 9th in 1:17.69; Evelyn Gehring was 11th in 1:18.75; McLeod was 13th in 1:20.41; Halee Rowland was 20th in 1:28.40 and Ove was 23rd in 1:31.0.
In the 800 Maggie Nuxoll was 3rd in 3:07.62 and Sydney Shears as 4th in 3:08.62.
In the 1600 Nuxoll was 4th in 6:49.59.
In the 75 meter hurdles Callie Remacle was  4th in 15.46.
In the 200 meter hurdles Nuxoll was 7th in 40.69; Remacle was 8th in 42.35 and Gehring was 12th in 44.63.
In the discus Brooke Bennet was 23rd at 35.10”.
In the high jump Remacle was 2nd at 4’5” and Shears was 3rd at 4’3”.
In the long jump Remacle was 9th at 11’½”; Geis was 11th at 10’9”; Cash was 13th at 10’7”; Riggers was 15th at 10’3½”; Uhlenkott was 19th at 9’10½”; Schlader was 22nd at 9’9”; Nuxoll was 36th at 8’9”; Rehder was 42nd at 7’10” and Ove was 47th at 6’8”.
The 4x100 team of Cash, Schlader, McLeod and Rehder was 4th in 1:02.63. the team of Geis, Rowland, Gehring and Shears was 5th in 1:03.50.
The 4x200 team of Schlader, Kennedy Riener, Rowland and Cash was 5th in 2:12.78.
The medley team of Avery Riener, Kennedy Riener, Hanson and Riggers was 4th in 2:26.50.
In other boys results Jackson Enneking was 11th in the 100 meter dash in 14.44.
In the 200 meter dash Payton Stamper was 3rd in 27.71; Damian Cronan was 11th in 29.94; Enneking was 19th in 32.33; Ashton Martin was 22nd in 33.03; Kade Quintal was 29th in 34.82; Gabe Decaria was 33rd in 29.40 and George Villamor was 34th in 42.29.
In the 400 Caden Armbrust was 10th in 1:09.91; Decaria was 15th in 1:28.97 and Villamor was 20th in 1:45.97.
In the 75 hurdles Landon Riener was 10th in 16.18.
In the shot put Martin was 20th at 22’4½” and Dylan Klapprich was 27th at 20’2”.
In the discus Armbrust was 3rd at 81’5”, Cronan was 13th at 64’11” and Klapprich was 16th at 59’4”.
In the long jump Stamper was 4th at 15’½”; Cronan was 12the at 12’7½”; Decaria was 35th at 9’11”; Riener was 37th at 9’8” and Villamor was 47th at 8’5”.
The 4x100 team of Cronan, Klapprich, Martin and Stamper was 5th in 57.10.
The 4x200 team of Armbrust, Enneking, VonBargen and Secrest was 2nd in 1:56.94.
The medley team of Quintal, Klapprich, Riener and VonBargen was 7th in 2:27.82.
Prairie Meet
At the Prairie meet two more school records were broken. Elven broke the shot put record this time with a first place winning mark of 35’1”. Also Shears set a new mark in the high jump with a first place finish at 4’8”.
Elven also won the discus with a mark of 96’3” and was 4th in the 200 in 32.6.
Shears was also 2nd in the 800 in 3:06.6.
Oliver again won the 200 with a personal best time of 29.9 and was third in the 100 in 14.9.
The girls team also had a pair of winning relays. The 4x200 team of Avery Riener, Breanne Schwartz, Lacey Schwartz and Oliver won with a time of 2:04.9.
The 4x400 team of Breanne Schwartz, Lacey Schwartz, Elven and Shears won with a time of 5:05.8.
The girls team placed 1st with 167½ points, almost double that of runner-up Grangeville.
For the boys team Secrest won the 200 in 1:02.4. He was also 2nd in the high jump at 5’0” and 4th in the 200 in 27.8.
The boys team placed 5th with 67.83 points.

In the 100 meter dash Cash was 7th in 15.2; Lacey Schwartz was 10th in 15.5; Avery Riener was 19th in 16.2; Rehder was 26th in 16.3; Hanson was 33rd in 16.5; McLeod was 43rd in 17.4 and Brooke Bennett was 68th in 19.4.
In the 400 Uhlenkott was 3rd in 1:11.5; Lacey Schwarz was 5th in 1:15.1; Geis was 6th in 1:16.1; Riggers was 8th in 1:18.0; Hanson was 11th in 1:21.6 and Breanne Schwartz was 20th in 1:32.2.
In the 800 Gehring was 4th in 3:07.6 and Nuxoll was 10th in 3:13.7.
Nuxoll was 5th in the 1600 at 6:50.1.
Remacle was 5th in the 75 hurdles in 15.0.
In the 200 hurdles Remacle was 2nd in 37.7 and Nuxoll was 5th in 38.5.
In the shot put Bennett was 27th at 16’2”.
In the discus Bennett was 18th at 37’1”.
In the high jump Remacle was 2nd at 4’6”.
In the long jump Schlader was 6th at 11’8¾”; Rehder was 10th at 10’8”; Cash was 11th at 10’7¾”; Remacle was 13th at 10’2”; Nuxoll and Riggers tied for 17th at 10’0” and Breanne Schwartz was 32nd at 8’10¾”.
The 4x100 team of Schlader, Kennedy Riener, Rehder and Cash was 4th in 1:01.0. The 4x100 team of Avery Riener, Geis, Gehring and Shears was 6th in 1:03.9.
The 4x200 team of Schlader, Kennedy Riener, Hanson and Cash was 4th in 2:07.8. The 4x200 team of Uhlenkott, Gehring, Geis and Riggers was 6th in 2:12.9.
The 4x400 team of Uhlenkott, Rehder, Schlader and Gehring was 2nd in 5:22.3.
The medley team of Avery Riener, Kennedy Riener, Hanson and Riggers was 3rd in 2:27.2

In the 100 meter dash Stamper was 4th in 13.6; Enneking was 9th in 14.3; Martin was 31st in 15.3 and Villamor was 58th in 20.8.
In the 200 meter dash Stamper was 14th in 30.3 and Villamor was 30th in 48.1.
In the 400 Enneking was 6th in 1:09.0; VonBargen was 8th in 1:09.9; Armbrust was 13th in 1:12.9 and Villamor was 26th in 1:50.1.
In the 800 VonBargen was 2nd in 2:27.7, Quintal was 10th in 3:00.8 and Riener was 15th in 3:17.4.
In the 75 hurdles Riener was 12th in 16.1.
In the shot put Martin was 10th at 24’10” and Klapprich was 31st at 17’1”.
In the discus Armbrust was 8th at 64’3”, Cronan was 13th at 58’7” and Klapprich was 23rd at 50’7”.
In the long jump Stamper was 3rd at 14’9” and Villamor was 33rd at 8’7”.
In the triple jump Quintal was 5th at 26’7½”.
The 4x100 team of Cronan, Klapprcih, Martin and Stamper was 9th in 1:03.0.
The 4x200 team of Armbrust, Enneking, VonBargen and Secrest was 2nd in 1:55.2.
The 4x440 team of Armbrust, VonBargen, Quintal and Enneking was 2nd in 5:00.0.
The medley team of Quintal, Riener, Klapprich and Martin was 6th in 2:25.9.
