| 2nd and 3rd graders attend Fall Festival at Holmans
Second and third graders were invited to a
Fall Festival at Kari and Thomas Holman's residence in Greencreek on
Friday, October 28th. Second graders enjoyed the morning session and
3rd grade traveled in the afternoon. Kari and Thomas were the perfect
hosts. While there, students participated in apple pressing and making
apple cider, popping kettle corn and listening to stories of Johnny
Appleseed, learning about harvest and milling wheat, and taking a hay
ride and looking at neighboring fields. The field trip ended with a
race and picking pumpkins. Many volunteers showed up for the day and
