Prairie wins tournament Friday afternoon at 4:00pm, roughly 150 volleyball players gathered inside Prairie High School to compete in our annual Dusk til Dawn tournament. Tamden Pecarovich, with help from Ashlyn North, hosted our fourth annual dusk till Dawn volleyball tournament for their senior project. There was a 7 team varsity bracket and an 8 team JV bracket. Teams came from all around. In attendance were teams from Bonners Ferry, Asotin, Tri Valley, St. Maries, Lewiston, Centennial Baptist, Dayton, and Prairie. We had a round robin style tournament. Following the round robin, we ended with a single elimination bracket for each side. Play began at 4 PM and the single elimination bracket finished up approximately 11:30 AM on the 24th. In the single elimination bracket on the Varsity side of the gym, in round 1 Centennial Baptist and Asotin were eliminated. Round 2 saw St. Maries lose to Prairie while Tri Valley fell to Lewiston. The championship game was then played between Lewiston and Prairie. In a best two out of three volleyball match Prairie ended up the champions after winning 2 games! On the JV side of the net Dayton knocked out Prairie White in a first round loss. Dayton then went on to lose to Tri Valley while Prairie Red eliminated Prairie Black. The championship game was then played by Tri Valley and Prairie Red. Tri Valley became the champions with a two game win over Prairie Red. The tournament was a huge success. Tamden Pecarovich and Ashlyn North would like to send out a huge thank you to all those of you who sponsored the tournament and to everyone who volunteered to help and make this tournament happen. It couldn’t have happened without everybody’s support. ![]() Shown are all the competitors in t-shirts provided to all competitors.
