Jim Vopat, shown with his wife Kathleen, cuts the ribbon officially opening the Idaho County Fair. The Vopats were this year's Grand Marshals.

The Old-Time Fiddlers performed in the gazebo on Thursday.

Eric and Joyce Forsmann's tractor collection was on display in the city park. A couple of them made an appearance in the Fair Parade.
Princess and Pirate honorees
The 2023 Idaho County Fair Royalty honored a couple of young princesses and a pirate from their Princess and Pirate event held the weekend prior to the Fair.
