Veterans Day program at PHS Prairie Schools held a Veterans Day assembly on Monday, Nov. 11 at the PHS gym. Below are photos from the event. ![]() The entire student body attended with the Elementary students arriving by bus from the elementary school. ![]() The Idaho Dept. of Corrections color guard opened the program by presenting the colors. ![]() Jed Fitch, a Marine Corps veteran who moved to Cottonwood with his family just over a year ago, was the guest speaker. ![]() Former National VFW Chaplain and current Dept. of Idaho Chaplain Dave Frei gave the invocation and then talked about the VFW and what they do for the community. ![]() Joe Riener, current Dept. of Idaho VFW Commander, talked about the Patriots Pen and Voice of Democracy scholarship programs put on by the VFW. ![]() Prairie ASB vice president Sage Elven gave the opening remarks for the program. ![]() ASB secretary Ellie Nuxoll read "Let Freedom Ring" by TSgt.
