PHS to host 2 state play-in games
The Prairie High School gym will be the site of a pair of boys basketball state play-in games on Saturday, March 1. They had originally been scheduled for Grangeville but it was discovered they had a scheduling conflict. There will be a Class 6A play-in game at 1 p.m. between the District 1 runner-up and the fifth place team from District 3. That will be followed at 3 p.m. by a Class 3A play-in game between the District 1-2 runner-up and the District 3 third place team. We will know which teams will be involved by next week. This is your chance to see some 3A and 6A level basketball close to home. The games will also be streamed on the Prairie Pirates Facebook page. Prairie also hosted a 4A girls state play-in game between Timberlake and Weiser this past Saturday. | COTTONWOOD
