3 named to all-league team
Three Prairie Lady Pirates were named to the 2024 White Pine 1A-D1 All-league team.
Lexi Schumacher was named to the first team while Sage Elven and Kylie Schumacher were named to the second team.
Lapwai’s Samara Powaukee was named Player of the Year while Kamiah’s Brandon Skinner was named coach of the year.
Other first team players were Powaukee, Laney Landmark and Emma Krogh of Kamiah and Chloe Grieser of Genesee.
Other second team players were Alaura Hawley and Dericka Morgan of Troy and Skylin Picard of Lapwai.
Honorable mentions were Sasha Reuben of C.V., Kendra Meyer and Riley Leseman of Genesee, Karlee Skinner and Mariah Porter of Kamiah; Jayden Leighton and Quibilah Mitchell of Lapwai, Jaylee Fry and Bailyn Anderson of Potlatch and Tessa Stoner, Olivia Tyler and Bethany Phillis of Troy.
