The annual Walk the Prairie and Beyond program starts Saturday, April 11 with a walk that starts at the Pine Bar Campground along the Salmon River.
There are 9 walks scheduled this year with 2 scheduled for May 9.
Registration for each walk starts at 8:30 a.m. with the walk starting at 9 a.m.
All ages and fitness levels are welcome. Prizes will be drawn at every walk with no charge to participate.

April 25-Orofino-Meet at Dworshak Dam & Reservoir and walk the Ahsahka Ridge Trail System.
May 2-Kooskia-Meet at Kooskia Fish Hatchery.
May 9-Grangeville-Meet at Grangeville Senior Center, 108 Grangeville Truck Route
May 9-Weippe-Meet at Deyo Reservoir, 803 Schmidt Road.
May 16-Nezperce-Meet at Savage health, 423 Oak St.
May 23-Monastery of St. Gertrude-Meet at the Museum
May 30-Winchester-Meet at Winchester Library, 314 Nez Perce Ave.
