Track team competes at two meets
The Prairie track team competed in a pair of meets this past week. On Tuesday, March 17, part of the team competed at the Kamiah Meet. On Saturday, March 21, the rest of the team competed at the Lewiston Invitational. Kamiah Meet
At the Kamiah Meet on Tuesday, the only event won by
Prairie was the boys 4x100 relay. Sam Rehder, Caden Armbrust, Matt Frei
and Marshall Weber won with a time of 49.07.
The top finishers for the girls were Tinley Hibbard in the discus at 61’9” and Callie Remacle in the high jump at 4’8”, both goo enough for third place. Other boys results: Armbrust was 5th in the 400 in 57.71, 7th in the javelin at 96’10” and 10th in the 200 in 26.01. Matthew Jones was 5th in the 3200 in 12:19.89 and 12th in the 1600 in 5:33.03. Weber was 7th in the 200 in 25.93 and 19th in the 100 in 12.67. Gabe Severns was 7th in the 800 in 2:22.91, 8th in the discus at 89’5” and 27th in the javelin at 65’8”. Anthony Forsmann was 8th in the shot put at 33’½” and 44th in the discus at 49’7”. Phineas Fitch was 8th in the 800 in 2:25.50, 12rh in 400 in 1:01.01 and 15th in the 1600 in 5:39.44. Kade Hanson was 10th in the discus at 87’0” and 29th in the shot put at 27’5½”. Carson Lockart was 15th in the 400 in 1:03.24 and 19th in the 200 in 27.91. Frei was 18th in the 200 in 27.62 and 31st in the discus in 66’3”. Hayden Johnson was 18th in the 400 in 1:03.77; 25th in the 200 in 27.91 and 37th in the 100 in 13.50. Gabe Decaria was 22nd in the 400 in 1:07.27 and 30th in the 200 in 29.48. Sam Rehder was 22nd in the 200 in 28.34 and 41st in the 100 in 13.61. Jackson Enneking was 27th in the 200 in 29.01 and 39th in the 100 in 13.56. Bucky Harman was 29th in the 200 in 29.47; 34th in the discus at 59’8” and 38th in the shot put at 23’7½” The 4x400 team of Lockart, Weber, Severns and Rehder was 2nd in 4:12.78. The 4x200 team of Lockart, Frei, Harman and Decaria was 3rd in 1:49.03. As a team the boys placed 4th out of 12 teams with 41points. Other girls results: Remacle was also 7th in the 100 hurdles in 19.46 and 10th in the 300 hurdles in 1:00.69. Hibbard was also 9th in the shot put at 24’11” and 13th in the javelin at 61’9”. Tori Shears was 5th in the 300 hurdles in 55;15; 8th in the 100 hurdles in 20.05 and 11th in the 100 in 14.64. Blake Uhlenkott was 7th in the pole vault at 6’6” and 18th in the 100 in 14.87. Bekah Shears was 8th in the 300 hurdles in 58.26, 12th in the 100 hurdles in 21.71 and 20th in the 100 in 15.11. Molly Fowler was 15th in the 200 in 33.78 and 38th in the 100 in 16.34. Winnie Secrest was 18th in the discus at 60’5½”, 22nd in the javelin at 48’11” and 23rd in the shot put at 18’11¾”. As a team the girls place 10th with 22 points. Lewiston Invitational
Sage Elven won the girls discus event at the Lewiston
Invitational with a best mark of 133’5”. She was also second in the
shot put at 39’2½”.
Nate Forsmann had the top finish for the boys team with a 5th in the boys discus at 138’2”. He was also 20th in the shot put at 40’1½”. Other girls results: Aubree Geis was 3rd in the 400 in 1:02.19 and 14th in the 200 in 28.35. Sydney Shears was 4th in the 800 in 2:28.27 and 15th in the 200 in 28.40. Avery Riener was 6th in the triple jump at 31’10¼” and 31st in the long jump at 13’0”. Aubree Riener was 9th in the high jump at 4’6”, 14th in the triple jump at 30’9” and 18th in the 300 hurdles in 54.97. Lillian Rehder was 11th in the 100 in 14.24. McKenzie Hope was 30th in the 100 in 14.34. The girls 4x200 relay team of Hope, Rehder, Geis and Shears placed 4th in 1:50.76. The 4x100 team of Hope, Avery Riener, Rehder and Geis was 4th in 54.86. The medley team of Hope, Rehder, Avery Riener and Aubree Riener was 7th in 2:05.39. As a team the girls placed 9th out of 26 schools with 47 points. Other boys results: Ben Secrest was 7th in the 400 in 53.47 and 13th in the 200 in 23.74. Trajan Elven was 44th in the shot put at 30’9”.
