Prairie competes at two meets Prairie participated at two track meets last week. On Tuesday, March 18, they traveled to Kamiah for a 9 school meet with the girls team winning the team championship and the boys taking second. On Friday, March 21, they traveled to Lewiston for the inaugural meet at the new track & field facility near the new high school, the Sweeney Invitational. At Kamiah In the meet at Kamiah Mia Anderson too first in the 200 meter dash in 28.32. She was also 2nd in the 400 in 1:08.66 and 2nd in the 100 meter hurdles in 18.20.Faith Cash placed first in the 800 meter run in 3:07.71. Reagan Brannan was first in the 300 meter hurdles in 56.07. She was also 6th in the 100 meter hurdles in 21.68 and 8th in the 100 meter dash in 14.79. Also placing first was the 4x400 relay team of Blake Uhlenkott, Alli Rambo, Brannan and Anderson in 4:52.14 while the team of Breanne Schwartz, Lacey Schwartz, Aubree Rehder and Lillian Rehder was second in 4:59.41. Levi Gehring was the only first place finisher for the boys team with a first in the 400 meter dash in 58.82. He was also 4th in the 200 in 26.28. Other girls results: Blake Uhlenkott was 2nd in the pole vault at 8’0” and 8th in the long jump at 12’3½”. Rambo was third in the pole vault at 7’0”, 5th in the 400 in 1:13.28 and 20th in the 100 in 15.63. Macie Uhlenkott was 4th in the discus at 75’4” and 12th in the shot put at 21’6”. Aubree Rehder was 5th in the 100 in 14.51, 6th in the 200 in 31.03 and 6th in the 400 in 1:13.46. Lillian Rehder was 9th in the 100 in 14.89 and 9th in the 200 in 31.60. Lacey Schwartz was 10th in the 200 in 31.61 and 11th in the 100 in 15.01. Molly Fowler was 10th in the 400 in 1:22.44 and 11th in the discus at 60’1”. Breanne Schwartz was 13th in the 200 in 32.65 and 16th in the 100 in 15.54. The girls 4x100 relay team of Breanne Schwartz, Lacey Schwartz, Lillian Rehder and Blake Uhlenkott was 4th in 59.84. The girls totaled 112½ pts., 7½ ahead of second place Lewiston. Other boys results: Nathan Weber was 2nd in the 200 in 26.22 and 11th in the discus at 88’11”. Caden Armbrust was 2nd in the 400 in 58.91, 2nd in the 800 in 2:19.84 and 10th in the javelin at 85’4”. Phineas Fitch was 2nd in the 1600 in 5:24.89, 3rd in the 3200 in 11:25.47 and 6th in the 800 in 2:26.81./ Ashton Martin was 5th in the 200 in 26.62, 8th in the 100 in 12.65 and 8th in the discus at 95’4”. Matthew Jones was 5th in the 3200 in 12:55.72, 7th in the 1600 in 6:02.87 and 10th in the 800 in 2:38.38, Payton Stamper was 6th in the 100 in 12.61. Hayden Johnson was 6th in the 400 in 1:00.65 and 10th in the 200 in 27.69. Kade Hanson was 11th in the 1600 in 6:39.94, 24th in the shot put at 21’3” and 28th in the discus at 57’10”. Trajan Elven was 12th in the discus at 88’6”. Gabe DeCaria was 14th in the 400 in 1:11.70, 15th in the 200 in 30.66 and 19th in the 100 in 13.70. Kento Morita was 17th in the javelin at 61’6”. Onyx Lish was 18th in the 100 in 13.70, 22nd in the discus at 76’4” and 23rd in the shot put at 23’7”. Stetson Hankins was 21st in the 100 in 15.07. The 4x100 relay team of Hankins, Elven, Morita and DeCaria was 3rd in 56.71. The 4x200 team of Hankins, Elven, Morita and Johnson was 4th in 1:56.45. The boys totaled 90½ pts., well behind first place Kamiah, who had 219. Sweeney Invitational There were 24 school
competing at the Sweeney Invitational including 6 schools from
Washington. Prairie, despite being one of the smallest schools there
placed 5th in the girls team competition and the boys were 10th.Sage Elven placed first in the discus at 138’3½”. She was also 4th in the shot put at 34’1½”. Sydney Shears placed first in the 800 meter run in 2:27.19 and was second in the 1600 in 5:36.20. The boys team had a pair of relays place first. The 4x200 relay team of Cole Duclos, Matt Wemhoff, Ben Secrest and Dylan Uhlenkott was first in 1:33.12 and the same 4 placed first in the 4x400 in 3:35.06. Other girls results: Aubree Geis was 3rd in the 400 in 1:03.62 and 13th in the 200 in 29.11. Hailey Hanson was 5th in the javelin at 91’7”, 6th in the discus at 109’6½” and 12th in the shot at 30’3”. Nadia Cash was 6th in the long jump at 15’5½” and 9th in the 100 in 13.90. Sierra Oliver was 8th in the pole vault at 6’6”, 14th in the 100 hurdles in 19.82 and 15th in the 300 hurdles in 56.68. Avery Riener was 10th in the triple jump at 30’6” and 20th in the long jump at 13’4½”. Kennedy Riener was 11th in the 100 in 14.03 and 12th in the 200 in 28.93. Callie Remacle was 18th in the 300 hurdles in 59.36, 21st in the high jump at 4’4” and 23rd in the 100 hurdles in 21.62. Aubree Rehder was 27th in the 200 in 30.89. The 4x400 relay team of Avery Riener, Sierra Oliver, Geis and Shears was 3rd in 4:26.10. The 4x100 team of Nadia Cash, Aubree Rehder, Avery Riener and Kennedy Riener was 4th in 54.88. The 4x200 team of Nadia Cash, Aubree Rehder, Aubree Geis and Kennedy Riener was also 4th in 1:54.15. The girls totaled 65½ pts. with only Post Falls, Lake City, Coeur d’Alene and Lewiston ahead of them, all much larger schools. Other boys results: Secrest was 3rd in the 400 in 52.58. Wemhoff was 5th in the 400 in 53.17 and 30th in the javelin at 99’5”. Uhlenkott was 8th in the 100 in 11.54. Duclos was 10th in the pole vault at 9’6” and 21st in the 200 in 57.04. Nate Forsmann was 19th in the discus at 106’½” and 23rd in the shot put at 35’1”. Stamper was 38th in the 100 in 12.57. The boys team totaled 31 points.
