2 Patriots compete at Kendrick Invitational St. John Bosco Academy had 2 competitors at the Kendrick Invitational Thursday, March 26 at Lapwai. Malachi Graham-Pile competed in 3 events. He finished 9th in the javelin at 111’3”, 16th in the discus at 96’7” and 22nd in the shot put at 31’9½”. Joseph Waters competed in his first meet of the season and placed 11th in the high jump at 5’0”. Bosco will be at the Clarkston Small School meet this Thursday, April 2. ![]() Girls

Bosco Alumni Games are held St. John Bosco Academy held their annual alumni volleyball and basketball games Saturday, March 28 at the Angelus Center Gym. The Patriots volleyball and basketball teams took on teams of St. John Bosco/Summit Academy alumni. Action started with 2 volleyball sets played to 25. Playing for the alumni team were Rachel Sonnen, Dani Sonnen, Alexia Prigge, Jade Prigge Wassmuth, Cori Wemhoff Dieseldorff, Jamie Chmelik Johnson, Eric Chmelik, Julia Wassmuth and Vivian Dahlsrud. The Alumni won the first game 28-26 while the Patriots won the send game 26-24. The same group of alumni then played the Patriots in basketball with the alumni winning a 2-quarter game 23-18. In the men’s game, played a full 4 quarters, the alumni pulled out a 59-57 win after trailing most of the game. Making up the alumni team were Levi Wassmuth, Josh Lustig, Zach Frei, Josh Frei, Patrick Chmelik, Torry Chmelik, Stallone Hoene, Clay Weckman, Glenn Parmantier, Luke Stubbers, David Johnson, Cody Wassmuth and Noah Beckman. Patrick Chmelik scored the game winning basket on a putback with 3 seconds left.
