Cottonwood Youth Sports is proud to announce the successful installation of brandnew scoreboards at the Wimer fields—a project that brought together generous local businesses, dedicated volunteers, and a community committed to improving youth activities in our area.
The new scoreboards were installed this past weekend and will serve baseball, softball, and other youth programs for years to come. This upgrade marks a significant improvement to the facilities and enhances the experience for both players and spectators.
This project was made possible through the combined efforts of several individuals and businesses. Cottonwood Youth Sports would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the following:
Rick Johnson, for organizing and coordinating the project from start to finish.
Neil Bruegeman / Advanced Welding, for donating and preparing the poles needed for the installation.
Johnathan Brady / Brady 3B Construction, for assisting with the pole installation.
Atlas Sand & Rock, for generously donating the concrete used to secure the poles.
Don Lustig / City Electric and Kris Shears / Livewire, for providing the wiring, installing the power to the scoreboards, and hanging the boards this past weekend.
Cottonwood Youth Sports would also like to acknowledge and thank the generous individuals and organizations who contributed funds toward the purchase of the scoreboards. Their financial support played a vital role in bringing this project to completion.
