Benefit concert set for April 15
The Camas Prairie Community Band will be
performing a Benefit Concert on Tuesday, April 15th at 7:00 p.m. in the
Prairie High School cafeteria. All donations will be given to
support music in our schools. The band is comprised of local adult
musicians and high school students. John Eynon, retired school band
director will be conducting.
On a further note, the summer band program will be starting again with our first rehearsal on Tuesday, June 3rd at 6:45 p.m. in the Prairie Elementary School Music room. If you have played a band instrument at the high school level, or if you are currently a high school band student, you are welcome to join us. Your instrument is crying out from that dusty dark closet for your attention! You are welcome to join, regardless of how long it has been since you last played your instrument.
