2 school records set, one tied
Two more school records fell and one was tied at the Kendrick Invitational Track Meet held at Lapwai Saturday, April 6.
Cole Duclos in the pole vault where he tied a school record that dates back to 1971.
Sierra Oliver won the pole vault and broke the school record with a mark of 7’9”. She had tied the old school record at last year’s district meet as well as an earlier meet this year.
Hailey Hanson and Elizabeth Severns both broke the javelin school record established by Severns on March 22 with Hanson getting the upper hand this time with a toss of 92’2”. Hanson was second in the event while Severns was third with a mark of 87’1”. Her old mark was 83’9½”.
Cole Duclos tied the school record in the pole vault with a mark of 10’0” as he placed 2nd in the event. He tied the mark set by Ken Wemhoff in 1971. He also finished 9th in the 200 in 24.85 and 11th in the 400 in 57.91.
The other individual event winner on the girls team was Sage elven who won the discus in 119’10½”. She was also 2nd in the shot put at 34’3”.
Trenton Lorentz was a double winner for the boys team as he was 1st in the 100 in 11.70 and 1st in the 200 in 23.08.
Logan Weber won the high jump with a mark of 5’6”. He was also 7th in the 100 meters in 12.51 and 8th in the 400 in 56.85.
Bennie Elven won the discus with a personal best mark or 149’5”. He was also 3rd in the shot put at 39’9”, 4th in the 100 in 12.37 and 7th in the javelin at 96’2”.
Matt Wemhoff was 1st in the javelin at 125’3”. He was also 6th in the 100 in 12.43.
The girls team won 2 relays. The 4x100 team of Nadia Cash, Avery Riener, Aubree Rehder and Kennedy Riener was 1st in 54.95. The 4x200 team of Alli Geis, Aubree Geis, Kennedy Riener and Sydney Shears was 1st in 1:53.00.
The boys team won 3 relays. The 4x100 team of Weber, Dylan Uhlenkott, Matt Wemhoff and Noah Geis was 1st in 46.50. the 4x200 team of Uhlenkott, Secrest, Geis and Lorentz was first in 1:35.50. The 4x400 team of Uhlenkott, Wemhoff, Secrest and Lorentz was 1st in 3:38.80.
Other girls results:
Oliver was also 2nd in the 100 hurdles in 19.08, 3rd in the 300 hurdles in 52.91 and 9th in the 100 in 14.48.
Shears was 2nd in the 800 in 2:27.89 and 3rd in the 200 in 28.43.
Avery Riener was 2nd in the triple jump at 29’9¾”.  She was also 5th in the long jump at 13’8”.
Nadia Cash was 2nd in the long jump at 13’11”. She was also 5th in the 100 in 14.19 and 11th in the 200 in 30.38.
Hanson was also 2nd in the discus at 110’8” and third in the shot put at 30’)’.
Severns was also 3rd in the discus at 108’6”, 5th in the 1600 in 7:21.42 and 6th in the shot put at 26’8”.
Evelyn Gehring was 3rd in the 1600 in 7:09.47 and 8th in the 300 hurdles in 58.45.
Hailey Hanson broke the javelin school record set a couple weeks ago by Elizabeth Severns. The two of them may wind up trading the record back and forth the rest of the season.Callie Remacle was 4th in the 1600 in 7:08.95, 4th in the 100 hurdles in 19.60, 4th in the high jump at 4’4” and 6th in the long jump at 13’1½”
Ella McLeod was 4th in the 3200 in 15:30.42 and 6th in the 1600 in 7:21.90.
Kennedy Riener was 6th in the 200 in 29.20.
Aubree Geis was 7th in the 400 in 1:06.29
Harlee Brannan was 7th in the discus at 78’2” and 10th in the shot put at 21’5”.
Meghan Fowler was 8th in the discus at 76’2” and 11th in the shot put at 20’11”.
Alli Geis was 10th in the 100 in 14.59.
Kyra Robertson was 12th in the shot put at 16’5½” and 14th in the discus at 38’1”.
The 4x400 relay team of Alli Geis, Kennedy Riener, Aubree Geis and Shears was 2nd in 4:20.83.
The medley relay team of Hanson, Aubree Rehder, Alli Geis and Avery Riener was 2nd in 2:05.87.
As a team the girls placed 2nd behind Logos with 199½ pts.

Uhlenkott was 2nd in the 200 in 23.96.
Zane Uptmor was 3rd in the 110 hurdles in 19.99, 3rd in the discus at 117’5”, 7th in the 300 hurdles in 50.40 and 15th in the 100 om 12.81.
Briggs Rambo was 3rd in the pole vault at 9’0”, 5th in the 110 hurdles in 20.29, 5th in the 300 hurdles in 49.17 and 11th in the long jump at 15’3”.
Lee Forsmann was 4th in the discus at 116’4” and 6th in the shot put at 33’11”.
Noah Geis was 4th in the 400 in 55.29 and 5th in the 200 in 24.85.
Caden Armbrust was 5th in the 1600 in 5:35.10 and 7th in the 3200 in 12:41.97.
Nate Forsmann was 7th in the discus at 104’9” and 7th in the shot put at 32’8”.
Secrest was 8th in the javelin at 95’0” and 10th in the 400 in 57.71.
Ashton Martin was 10th in the discus in 83’4”, 14th in the 200 n 26.84, 15th in the shot put at 27’6¼” and 21st in the 100 in 13.29.
Landon Riener was 7th in the 1600 in 6:39.99,  9th in the 110 hurdles in 24.00 and 11th in the 300 hurdles in 58.40.
Peter Remacle was 15th in the discus at 76’0” and 19th in the shot put at 24’1”.
Gabe Decaria was 23rd in the 400 in 1:11.94 38th in the 100 in 14.33, 37th in the 200 in 31.15.
As a team the boys also finished in 2nd behind Logos with 172 pts.

Callie Remacle and Sierra Oliver flank a Logos runner in the 100 hurdles. Oliver was second in the event while Remacle was 4th. Oliver also broke the school record in the pole vault at the meet.

Trenton Lorentz and Dylan Uhlenkott wound up finishing 1st and 2nd in the 200 meter dash.

Avery Riener took 2nd in the triple jump.

Zane Uptmor was even with two other runners at the first hurdle in the 110 hurdles. He wound up finishing third.
