The Prairie Track team competed at the Prairie Invite on Tuesday, April 14 and the White Pine League Meet at Troy on Saturday, April 18 while Sage Elven competed at the Pasco Invite on Saturday, April 18. Prairie Meet
Sage Elven broke her own school records in both the
shot put and discus at the Prairie Meet Tuesday. She won the shot put
with a school record mark of 41’5½”, breaking the record she set
earlier this season on March 26. She won the discus with a mark of
145’6”, breaking the record she set last year at the District meet. She
also won the javelin with a mark of 92’5½”.
Winning 2 individual events each for the girls team were Sydney Shears and Aubree Geis. Shears won the 3200 in 12:58.30 and the 1600 in 5:58.10. Geis won the 100 in 13.89 and the 200 in 28.23. Ben Secrest and Nate Forsmann were double event winners for the boys. Secrest won the 100 in 11.88 and the 200 in 23.56 while Forsmann won the shot put in a personal best mark of 44’9” and the discus at 134’5”. Other girls results: Kennedy Riener was 2nd in the 100 in 13.89 and 2nd in the 200 in 28.46. Avery Riener was 2nd in the triple jump at 31’9½” and 17th in the 100 in 15.45. Callie Remacle was 2nd in the high jumnp at 4’8”, 4th in the 100 hurdles in 19.00 and 10th in the 300 hurdles in 1:01.06. Alli Rambo was 3rd in the pole vault at 7’0”. Tinley Hibbard was 3rd in the discus at 90’10”, 8th in the shot put at 25’5” and 10th in the javelin at 63’0”. Tori Shears was 3rd in the 200 in 30.00, 9th in the 100 hurdles in 19.97 and 9th in the long jump at 12’¼”. McKenzie Hope was 4th in the 100 in 14.39. Aubree Riener was 4th in the triple jump at 30’3”, 4th in the 300 hurdles in 53.85, 6th in the high jump at 4’6” and 8th in the 100 hurdles in 19.96. Blake Uhlenkott finished 5th in the pole vault at 7’0”/ Winnie Secrest finished 6th in the discus at 76’5”, 15th in the shot put at 21’11½” and 15th in the javelin at 58’1”. Bekah Shears was 7th in the long jump at 12’10”, 9th in the 300 hurdles in 59.90 and 11th in the 100 hurdles in 20.92. Molly Fowler finished 18th in the 200 in 35.77. The 4x100 relay team of Uhlenkott, Bekah Shears, Tori Shears and Sydney Shears finished 1st in 54.18. The 4x200 team of Hope, Lillian Rehder, Geis and Kennedy Riener finished 1st in 1:51.09. The team of Rambo, Uhlenkott, Fowler and Remacle finished 4th in 2:03.92. The 4x400 team of Uhlenkott, Avery Riener, Hope and Rehder finished 1st in 4:31.96. The medley team of Uhlenkott, Avery Riener, Hope and Rehder finished 1st in 2:06.03. As a team the girls finished 1st with 198.5 points. Other boys results: Trajan Elven was 3rd in the discus at 123’2”. Caden Armbrust finished 4th in the 100 in 12.30 and 4th in the 200 in 25.34. Gabe Severns was 4th in the 3200 in 12:27.71, 9th in the 1600 in 5:42.86 and 10th in the discus at 100’2”. Marshall Weber was 5th in the 200 in 25.45, 9th in the long jump at 16’1” and 12th in the 100 in 12.66 Matthew Jones was 5th in the 3200 in 12:40.34 and 13th in the 1600 in 5:52.56. Sam Rehder was 6th in the 110 hurdles in 22.93, 10th in the 400 in 1:04.35, 13th in the 200 in 28.21 and 29th in the 100 14.10. Carson Lockart was 7th in the 400 in 1:01.68, 19th in the 100 in 29.26 and 23rd in the 100 in 13.67. Phineas Fitch was 7th in the 3200 in 13:14.61 and 12th in the 1600 in 5:51.56. Anthony Forsmann was 7th in the discus at 101’11” and 16th in the shot put at 31’8½”. Hayden Johnson was 9th in the 400 in 1:03.39. Matt Frei was 14th in the 200 in 28.41 and 26th in the discus at 76’6”. Kade Hanson was 20th in the discus at 82’2” and 30th in the shot put at 26’8”. Gabe DeCaria was 24th in the 100 in 13.69 and 25th in the 200 in 30.67. Bucky Harman was 27th in the discus at 75’3” and was 34th in the shot put at 24’6”. The 4x400 team of Johnson, Rehder, Weber and Armbrust was 2nd in 4:10.67. The 4x100 relay team of Armbrust, Nate Forsmann, Johnson and Secrest was 4th in 49.98. held at Troy on Saturday.
Forsmann won the discus with a mark of 143’3” and was also 3rd in the shot put at 42’3”. Shears won the 800 in 2:28.79 and was also second in the 1600 in 5:47.73. Hibbard won the discus with a mark of 93’3¾” and was also 2nd in the shot put at 32’1½” and 9th in the javelin at 80’2”. Uhlenkott won the pole vault at 8’0” and was also 16th in the 100 in 14.47. Other girls results: Geis was 2nd in the 400 in 1:01.52. Avery Riener was 2nd in the triple jump at 31’10½”, 8th in the long jump at 13’10” and 18th in the 100 in 14.92. The 4x200 team of Tori Shears, Sydney Shears, Kennedy Riener and Geis was 1st in 1:48.36. The 4x400 team of Geis, Kennedy Riener, Rehder and Sydney Shears was 1st in 4:18.52. The medley team of Uhlenkott, Avery Riener, Hope and Tori Shears was 1st in 2:04.14 The 4x100 team of Hope, Tori Shears, Rehder and Geis was 2nd in 53.23. Sage Elven was invited to compete at the Pasco Invite held Saturday, April 18 at Edgar Brown Stadium in Pasco, Washington.
She won both events she competed in. She won the shot put with a mark of 40’2¼”. She also won the discus with a mark of 145’8” which broke the school record she had set just 4 days earlier at the Prairie Invite.
