Prairie hosts two meets
The Prairie Track & Field team hosted a pair of track meets this past week. On Tuesday, April 15, they hosted the Prairie Invite and on Saturday, April 19, they hosted the White Pine League Championships for the first time ever.
The Prairie girls team dominated their competition in the 11 school event scoring 268.5 points which was over 180 more than second place Kamiah. The boys scored 133 points to place third behind Kamiah and McCall-Donnelly.
Dylan Uhlenkott and Sydney Shears were both triple event winners, 2 individual and 1 relay win each while Sage Elven won 3 individual events.
Uhlenkott won the 100 in 11.55 and the 200 in 23.21 and anchored the 4x200 relay to a win in 1:32.95 with teammates Cole Duclos, Matt Wemhoff and Ben Secrest.
Shears won the 800 in 2:26.62, the 1600 in 5:49.32 and anchored the 4x400 relay to a win in 4:30.53 with teammates Aubree Rehder, Avery Riener and Mia Anderson.
Elven won the shot put at 36’5”, the discus at 137’5” and the javelin at 98’11”.
Wemhoff was the one other solo event winner for the boys with a first in the javelin at 130’10”. He was also 3^rd in the 100 in 11.87.
The boys 4x100 relay team of Duclos, Wemhoff, Levi Gehring and Secrest also win in a time of 47.15.
Also winning events for the girls were:
Kennedy Riener in the 100 in 13.57. She was also 2^nd in the 200 in 27.89.
Anderson in the 200 in 27.88. She was also second in the 100 in 13.64.
Sierra Oliver on the pole vault at 8’6”. She was also 2^nd in the 300 hurdles in 52.08 and 3^rd in the 100 hurdles in 17.99.
Callie Remacle was 1^st in the high jump at 4’10”. She was also 4^th in the 100 hurdles in 19.20, 5^th in the 300 hurdles in 57.07 and 8^th in the long jump at 13’9”.
Geis in the 400 in 1:02.53. She was also 3^rd in the 200 in 28.29 and 6^th n the 100 in 14.07.
The girls also won the other 3 relays. Nadia Cash, Kennedy Riener, Oliver and Anderson won the 4x100 in 51.97 with Reagan Brannan, Rehder, Blake Uhlenkott and McKenzie Hope 2^nd in 56.08.
Brannan, Lacey Schwartz, Alli Rambo and Blake Uhlenkott won the 4x200 in 2:02.40.
Aubree Rehder, Lillian Rehder, Hope and Lacey Schwartz won the medley in 2:09.43.

Secrest finished 2^nd in the 100 in 11.86 and 3^rd in the 200 in 24.10.
Briggs Rambo was 2^nd in the 110 hurdles in 18.42, 3^rd in the 300 hurdles in 47.36 and 10^th in the pole vault at 8’6”.
Levi Gehring was 3^rd in the 400 in 56.24, 12^th in the 200 in 26.28 and 15^th in the 100 in 12.98.
Duclos finished 4^th in the 200 in 25.55 and 6^th in the pole vault at 9’0”.
Caden Armbrust finished 4^th in the 800 in 2:18.87, 6^th in the 200 in 25.79 and 8^th in the javelin at 102’11”.
Nate Forsmann was 4^th in the discus at 120’7” and 10^th in the shot put at 33’10”.
Phineas Fitch was 5^th in the 400 in 57.04 and 5^th in the 1600 in 5:12.64.
Ashton Martin was 7^th in the discus at 104’8” and 18^th in the 100 in 13.10.
Nathan Weber was 9^th in the discus at 99’2”, 13^th in the 200 in 26.57 and 14^th in the 100 in 12.81.
Matthew Jones was 9^th in the 3200 in 12:57.29.
Stetson Hankins was 10^th in the triple jump at 30’6¼”, 11^th in the high jump at 4’10”, 13^th in the javelin at 92’6” and 30^th in the 200 in 30.65.
Trajan Elven was 12^th in the javelin at 93’4”, 15^th in the discus at 87’3”, 28^th in the 200 in 30.29 and 30^th in the 100 in 14.10.
Payton Stamper was 13^th in the 100 in 12.81.
Kade Hanson was 15^th in the 1600 in 6:40.91, 22^nd in the shot put at 25’11” and 27^th in the discus at 67’6”.
Kento Morita was 18^th in the 400 in 1:07.35, 22^nd in the javelin at 74’1” and 25^th in the 200 in 29.64.
Gabe Decaria was 21^st in the 400 in 1:12.45, 26^th in the 200 in 29.98 and 29^th in the 100 in 13.74.
Onyx Lish was 22^nd in the 200 in 28.52 and 23^rd in the discus at 75’.
Hayden Johnson was 25^th in the 100 in 13.59.
The 4x400 relay team of Jones, Fitch, Weber and Armbrust was 3^rd in 4:02.04.
The medley relay team of Stamper, Martin, Johnson and Jones was 3^rd in 4:23.29.

Macie Uhlenkott was 5^th in the discus at 94’10” and 8^th in the shot put at 22’10”.

At the White Pine League Meet Dylan Uhlenkott and Shears were both 2-event winners.
Uhlenkott won the 100 in 11.465 and the 400 in 51.46. He was 2^nd in the 200 in 23.02.
Shears won the 800 by coming from behind in the final meters to win in 2:22.41. She won the 1600 in 5:40.07.
The only other event win for the boys was the 4x200 relay team of Duclos, Wemhoff, Secrest and Uhlenkott in 1:33.92.
For the girls Elven also won the discus at 132’4”. She also took 2^nd in the shot put at 39’9½” and 2^nd in the javelin at 96’4½”.
Blake Uhlenkott won the pole vault with a personal best mark of 8’3”. She was also 12^th in the 400 in 1:15.65 and 13^th in the long jump at 12’9”.
The girls 4x100 relay team of Nadia Cash, Kennedy Riener, Oliver and Anderson won in 51.67.
The 4x200 team of Kennedy Riener, Geis, Anderson and Shears won in 1:52.86. The 4x200 team of Brannan, Hope, Aubree Rehder and Avery Riener was 2^nd in 1:57.53.
The girls team placed 2^nd with 206 points, just 7 behind first place Logos.
The boys team placed 5^th in the 88 points.
