PHS class of 2025 top scholars named
The Prairie High School Class of 2025 has six valedictorians and one salutatorian.  This year’s valedictorians are Harlee Brannan, Monica Goeckner, Jake Quintal, Briggs Rambo, Rachael Schumacher and Carter Shears.  They have all maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout their high school careers.
Harlee is the daughter of Chris and Andrea Brannan.  She will attend Lewis Clark State College and major in Exercise Science with future plans of obtaining a degree in Chiropractic Medicine.  During her years at Prairie High School, Harlee participated in volleyball, track & field, HOSA, Business Professionals of America, and held numerous ASB positions including Senior Class President and Prairie League.
Monica is the daughter of Brent and Jennie Goeckner. She plans to attend University of Idaho and major in Apparel, Textiles & Design. Monica participates in Knowledge Bowl, serves as a Eucharistic Minister in her parish as well as ministers to the homebound.
Jake is the son of Mike and Suzi Quintal.  Jake plans on attending University of Idaho and majoring in Wildlife Resources with an emphasis on Conservation Law Enforcement.  Throughout his high school years Jake has participated in football, baseball, wrestling, class officer and Advanced EMT.
Briggs is the son of Jason and Megan Rambo.  He plans to Serve a Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints before going on to attend Boise State University where he will major in Business. During Briggs’ high school career, he has participated in basketball, football, track & field, Knowledge Bowl, math lab competition and class representative.
Rachael is the daughter of Adam and Beth Schumacher.  She plans to attend University of Idaho and major in Business Administration. During her time with us she has participated in Business Professionals of America & Knowledge Bowl.
Carter is the son of David and Erin Shears.  He will be attending University of Idaho and plans to Major in Cyber Security. Carter has participated in football and baseball during his high school career.
Our salutatorian for the Class of 2025 is Kaylie Lockett; she maintained a 3.952 GPA throughout high school. Kaylie is the daughter of Stan and Cassie Lockett. She plans to attend Lewis Clark State College, majoring in Secondary Education: Mathematics. During high school, Kaylie played volleyball, basketball, softball, and was a member of Prairie League.
