The State Track Meet will be held at Middleton again this year. Field events get underway at 9 a.m. MDT Friday.
All times listed are Mountain Time.
Prairie will have Cole Duclos competing in the pole vault and Avery Riener competing in the triple jump starting at 9 a.m.
At 10:30 a.m. the girls javelin competition will start with Sage Elven and Hailey Hanson in that event.
At about 11, or after the boys pole vault is done, the girls pole vault will start with Sierra Oliver, Blake Uhlenkott and Alli Rambo competing.
At noon the girls shot put will start with Elven and Hanson competing.
At 1:30 the girls high jump with Callie Remacle will get underway.
Field events don’t get going again until 3 p.m. with the girls discus with Elven, Hanson and Macie Uhlenkott competing and Nadia Cash in the girls long jump.
Also at 1:30 the running prelims will get started with Oliver in the 100 meter hurdles and Briggs Rambo in the 110 meter hurdles.
The 100 meter dash will follow with Nadia Cash in the girls prelims and Dylan Uhlenkott in the boys.
Next will be the 400 prelims with Aubree Geis for the girls and Uhlenkott and Matt Wemhoff for the boys.
After a 20 minute break the 300 hurdles will get going with Mia Anderson and Oliver competing.
The last of the prelims will be the 200 meter dash with Uhlenkott in the boys race.
The final event of the evening will be the medley relay final with Prairie’s girls competing.
On Saturday at 9 a.m. Nate Forsmann will be competing in the boys discus.
At 11:30 a.m. will be the Parade of Athletes.
Running finals start at 12:30 p.m. with the girls 100 hurdles followed by the boys 110 hurdles.
Next up will be the 4x200 relay finals. Both the girls and boys will have a team competing.
Next are the 100 meter finals followed by the 800 meter finals. Sydney Shears will be in the girls 800 race.
Next are the 4x100 finals with Prairie having both a boys and girls team competing.
Next are the 400 meter finals.
After a 20 minute break the 300 hurdle finals will be held followed by the 200 meter finals.
Phineas Fitch will be competing in the 1600 meter final for the boys.
The final event of the meet is the 4x400 relay and the girls will have a team competing.
