More treasure hunt clues will be posted on the library’s Facebook page during the week for more winning chances. Dear Old Nat…Spokane’s Playground by Marla Hyder and Donald R Johnson is Joan’s non-fiction pick for the week. It is a history of Natatoriam Park (Nat) from 1889-1968. It became an amusement park soon after its founding, The park went through many transitions before finally closing in 1968. At one time the public swimming pool was even converted to showcase seals. Joan found this book an entertaining and interesting story about a well-known attraction of the area. Come check it out. The ukulele group continues to meet at the library on Thursdays from 4-5:30. Anyone wanting to join these free sessions is welcome to attend with no commitments. Beginner to experienced players are welcome, with or without your own instrument, as the group leader has a loaner available. As summer gets busy remember we have a book drop for returning books if you’re not able to come in when your books are due. It is located on the northeast back corner of the building. Renewals can be made by phoning us at 208 962-3714. Story Hour continues through the summer on Tuesdays at 10 am. Information about the Summer Reading Program will be out soon. It’s going to be fun for kids of all ages. Keep reading. Frances
