Collins 4,836 to 3,647 while for seat B, Charlie Shepherd defeated Maureen Anderson 5,919 to 2,461. For Governor, Brad Little easily dispatched 7 challengers with 140,769 votes while the closest challenger was Mark Fitzpatrick with 68,546. Terri Pickens won the Democratic nomination in a 4-way race with 30,331 votes with Jill C. Kirkham coming in second with 8,337 votes. That was the only statewide contested race. For US. Representative District 1, Incumbent Republican Russ Fulcher easily won the nomination with 99,985 votes compared to 14,444 for Andy Briner and 13,597 for Joseph P. Morrison. Kaylee Peterson won the Democratic nomination with 18,911 votes to 2,804 for Kenneth Brungardt. For U.S. Senate, incumbent Republican Jim Risch easily won his party’s nomination with 156,199 votes in a 4-way race. Josh Roy was second with 33,197. David Roth secured the Democratic nomination with 29,535 votes compared to 14,865 for runner-up Brad Moore.
