Track award winners 
Prairie track and field gave out awards last Thursday, May 29. Kneeling from left are the girls team winners, Sydney Shears, runner of the year; Aubree Geis, Pirate Award; Mia Anderson, most improved and Sage Elven, field event athlete of the year. Boys team winners are standing from left. Matt Elven and Ben Secrest were each presented “Workhorse Awards” by distance runner coach Jack Secrest by helping to pace Phineas Fitch and Shears. Next are Nate Forsmann, field athlete of the year; Caden Armbrust, Pirate Award; Dylan Uhlenkott, runner of the year and Cole Duclos, most improved.
