Summer drama production set for July 11-13 at Sts. Peter & Paul gym
“The Sword in the Stone” by M.G.R. Hattrup, is True Image Theater’s 10th annual summer drama production!
It follows the life of King Arthur from his wondrous pulling of the sword from the stone as a boy, to the rejection of his destiny in his youth, and finally to the acceptance of his rightful kingship. With Lady Guinevere at his side, he realizes his vision of Camelot, where good and right prevail, though his evil uncle, Lord Vortigern, and his manipulative sisters, Morgan LeFay and Morgause de Lothain are constantly thwarting his intentions and trying to win the throne for themselves. Seeking and doing the Will of God always produces good, while evil magic always fails. The story concludes with sacrifice, true love, and conversion. With two original songs and a unique perspective of Arthur’s life from various Arthurian legends, this production is both exciting and entertaining! All performances are at Sts. Peter and Paul Gym in Grangeville on Friday, July 11th at 6:30pm, Saturday, July 12th at 7:00pm, and Sunday, July 13th, matinee at 1:00pm and evening at 5:30pm. Concessions are available for purchase and donations are accepted at the door. Bring your friends and family to experience some magic and fun! ![]() |
