AFD youth fundraiser a success
The event was a successful fundraiser and the youth group will continue training for the year! Thank you to all who donated items for the raffle, purchased raffle tickets, attended the event or participated in the chili cookoff.
We set a goal of 16,000 rounds of ammo and raised enough money with the raffle and events last Sunday to purchase 14,750 rounds. Two AFD members came by the range today and noticed we were short of the goal and donated another 1 ½ cases of ammo. We are so pleased to have the AFD community support for our youth. Thank you everyone!
The 2 hour trainings are set for the 2nd Thursday of every month from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, beginning July 10th. That same dayis the NRA Basic Pistol course from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. This is for any student who wants to join the Youth Gun Club. A 1 day basic pistol or handgun level 1 is required prior to attending the free monthly trainings. This group was started at St. John Bosco Academy but we welcome homeschool and students from other schools, anyone aged 12-18.
JULY 10th will be the only FREE 1 day course for new people to join the Gun Club until 2026. Please spread the word. For more information about the free Basic Pistol course or the monthly training go to: AFDidaho.com or call AFD at 208-935-5734
