Nezperce Prairie Days set for this weekend
The Wild Wild West is the theme for the 2025 Nezperce Prairie Day celebration scheduled for July 11-12.
  The schedule will feature the Friday night dinner (chuck wagon theme meal) with prices to stay $12 for adults and $9 for youth with serving starting at 6 p.m.
  Friday will also have a Youth Bake Sale (noon); Ice Cream Social (6 p.m.); and starting at 7 p.m. in Memorial Park Wine Pull (funds go to Pickle Ball courts) featuring a big prize of two pickleball rackets/balls/backpack; Auction and live music from Rance May.
  The Pioneer of the Year will also be recognized on Friday night.
  Saturday, July 12: Breakfast sponsored by the American Legion and Nezperce Boosters 7:30-10 at the Legion Hall. (All you can eat, donation)
  Savage Health will sponsor a run starting at 7 a.m. in Memorial Park followed by Yoga in the Park
  8 a.m. 3-on-3 basketball; sidewalk chalk art.
  Nezperce Historical Museum open 9 to 11 a.m.
  10 a.m. Parade Line Up by grain elevators and 10:45 a.m. Kiddie Parade at courthouse followed by the Prairie Day Parade at 11 a.m. on Oak Street.
  School tours at 11:10 a.m.
  1 p.m. Button Drawing (600 made and available for sale soon); and all ages Races & Games in the park.
  Cornhole Tournament starting at 3 p.m.
  Live music from Cole Brooks 8 p.m. to midnight.
Prairie Day Auction: The Nezperce Service League and Nezperce Prairie Day Association are teaming together to put on the live and silent auctions on July 11 and we are seeking donations. Gift certificates, prize baskets, hand crafted items, etc. are welcome and appreciated as we raise funds to continue to benefit our community.
   Donations can be taken to City Hall or DM me to coordinate pick-up.

Cornhole Tournament 3 p.m. July 12 is a fundraiser for the Nezperce High School Volleyball Team. Sign up 2-2:30 p.m. in the park, $40 entry fee due before event begins. Cash prizes for first and second place. Contact Jennifer or Marty Lux for additional information.
Fun Run & Walk sponsored by Save Health Saturday: 6:30 a.m. registration ($5 donation), 7 p.m. start at the park. Prizes for age group winners. Yoga in the Park will follow at 8 a.m.
3-on-3 basketball at the City Tennis Courts starting at 8 a.m. Saturday. Boys and girls divisions (teams may e co-ed) for grades 3-5, 6-8 and high school & up.
  Three to four players per team, $50 entry fee (benefits NHS Boys Basketball). Double elimination

Baked Good Sale July 11: Sponsored by Nezperce Youth Sports 9 a.m. to noon at The Only Store. Featuring Cookies, muggings, cupcakes, pie filling, specialty breads, cakes, etc.
