to the editor from this week's Chronicle Let’s Set the Record Straight—Happy to Chat!!
I am
writing to formally express my deep concern and frustration regarding
my recent termination. I was blindsided by this decision, especially
considering that I have no letters of reprimand or formal documentation in
my personnel file indicating any performance issues or misconduct. I
have also not been called in for a reprimand or had any meetings with
school administration which can be verified. I keep hearing oh she is
not telling the truth or doesn’t want anyone to know. I am happy to
e-mail anyone personally exactly what was given to me from my personnel
file. If you are bold enough to talk behind my back as to what has gone
on it’s because you enjoy tarnishing someone instead of fact finding.
If you are wanting to verify for yourself what was given to me after I
had to have an attorney get my file released from the school as they
were not wanting to hand it over and you want to see as to what I got
from them, please e-mail me icp@centralidahoagency.com or
stop by for a visit and I will gladly forward by file and you can read
for yourself that no letters or complaints were handed over. If anyone
was bold enough to personally complain and not want to be mentioned,
then shame on you. Own your actions. What is even more troubling is hearing that someone is allegedly claiming I’ve had “a letter or three talking to” this year. If that is what’s being said to justify this decision, then I want it clearly stated: that is categorically false. I have not received any formal letters, warnings, or disciplinary communications. If anyone truly believes otherwise, I invite you to come speak with me directly or send me an e-mail—I will gladly forward my full correspondence with the school as evidence. Being accused of dishonesty on top of being dismissed unfairly is deeply upsetting. I expect transparency, and I ask that the record be kept straight. If there is documentation I am unaware of, I would love to see it. This has been nothing but character assassination for merely doing something that I love. I remain open to discussing this situation in a professional and respectful manner, but I will not allow my name or integrity to be quietly tarnished by untrue statements or a lack of due process. Sincerely, Lori Mader Ex-Prairie Basketball Coach E-mail: icp@centralidahoagency.com
