14 turn out for Cross Country
There are 14 athletes out for Prairie High School Cross Country this fall.
There are 7 girls and 7 boys.
Returning from last year for the girls are senior Callie Remacle, juniors Ella McLeod, Lillianne Lustig and Evelyn Gehring and sophomore Bella Musick. New to the team this year are senior Sydney Shears, who played volleyball the past 3 years, and freshman Aubree Riener.
Returning from last year for the boys are seniors Chase VonBargen and Landon Riener, junior Gabe DeCaria and sophomores Matthew Jones, Kade Hansen, Joe Shaw and Phineas Fitch.
Their first meet is this Thursday, August 28 at Troy with the varsity girls race set to start at 6 p.m. followed by the boys varsity race at 6:45 p.m. The course is at Troy High School and starts and ends in the football field.
