Cross Country team competes at Troy Six of the 14 members of the Prairie Cross Country team competed at the Troy Invitational Thursday, August 27.
Evelyn Gehring was Prairie’s top finisher as she finished 8th in the girl’s race with a time of 27:57.12. Madalynn VonBargen was 10th in 28:49.60 and Gloria Terhaar was 12th in 32:32.93. In the boys race Matthew Jones was the top finisher with a 14th place finish in 21:34.98. He just edged out his younger brother Koyle, who was 15th in 21:35.18. Kade Hansen was 32nd in 25:38.25. The next race for Prairie will be the Seaport Invite at Clarkston on Wednesday, Sept. 9.
