Youngsters sell cookies to help friend
A group of local 8^th graders were looking for a way to raise money for their friend Jagger May, who recently was in a 4-wheeler accident and has been taken to Seattle for treatment.
According to his mom, Brody Kalmbach spearheaded things and set up donation jars at the Credit Union and at Coyote’s. He felt they needed to do something else and decided to buy ingredients to bake cookies and sell them door to door. He was joined by several friends: Lydia Francis, Branch Bennett, Isaac Riener and Caden and Callen Lockart. They are selling the cookies at $1 each but would take any additional donations and will make sure all the money gets to Jagger.
