Cross Country at Farragut Invite The Prairie cross country team traveled to Farragut State Park north of Coeur d’Alene for the Timberlake Farragut Invitational Meet. Schools of all sizes were in attendance with Prairie being the smallest school to field a full team in both the boys and girls races. In the girls race Prairie finished 15th in team scoring. Sydney Shears was the team’s top finisher as she placed 26th in 21:09.50. Evelyn Gehring placed 90th in 24:43.50. Ella McLeod was 107th in 27:26.80. Callie Remacle was 109th in 27:50.40. Aubree Riener was 113th in 29:52.70 and Lillianne Lustig was 114th in 32:31.50. The boys team placed 23rd in team scoring. Chase VonBargen was the top finisher in 123rd place with a time of 20:17.10. Phineas Fitch was 136th in 20:49.70. Matthew Jones was 142nd in 21:23.0. Kade Hansen was 165th in 24:53.10. Gabe DeCaria was 167th in 27:04.70. Landon Riener was 168th in 29:27.10. This week Prairie is at the Seaport Invite at Clarkston with the junior high runners getting their first action. The girls junior high race starts at 4 p.m. followed by the boys at 4:20.
