In the second set they were able to take their first lead of the match after falling behind 2-5 and 3-6. A missed Potlatch serve sent Mia Anderson to the service line. She served an ace and then Beka Schumacher scored a kill to tie it. A first touch kill by Avery Riener gave Prairie a 7-6 lead. Unfortunately that was to be the varsity’s only lead of the match.
Potlatch then answered with 4 straight points. Prairie got back within 1 at 10-11 after a kill by Kennedy Riener and an ace by Harlee Hansen. Potlatch then scored 3 straight and the closest Prairie would get the rest of the set was 2 points on multiple occasions. The last came at 21-23 after a kill each by Anderson and Beka Schumacher.
Potlatch scored first in the third set but a kill by Kylie Schumacher tied it. Prairie tied it again at 2 on a kill by Beka Schumacher. Potlatch then scored 3 straight but Prairie answered with a sideout kill by Anderson, an ace by Anderson and a kill be Beka Schumacher when she tipped the ball over left handed.
That was the last gasp for the Pirates as Potlatch scored 7 of the next 8 points and never looked back.

The JV team lost 25-15, 18-25, 14-16.
Potlatch led early in the first set with Prairie not taking the lead for good until after a 4-point service run by Zoey Behler. She had 2 aces while Erica Schlader and Halee Rowland each added a kill. That made it 10-8.
It was still close until Faith Cash scored a sideout free ball to send Rowland to the service line. Rowland served Prairie to a 22-12 lead as she had 4 aces while Schlader had 2 kills and Behler added another.
After trading sideouts, Schlader wound up serving the set winning ace.
In the second set it was Potlatch that pulled away with a big serving run. Prairie led 9-8 after a kill by Bekah Shears but Potlatch then scored 8 straight points.
Prairie had their own service run behind Macie Uhlenkott to get the lead down to 1 at 17-18. She had 2 aces while Cash had 2 kills and Tinley Hibbard added another. However Potlatch scored the sideout and then scored the next 4 points and went on to win by 7.
The deciding third set was close all the way. Prairie fell behind early. They were able to take their first lead after Schlader scored a free ball sideout to make it 6-7. Cash then served 2 aces and Hibbard scored a kill for a 9-7 lead.
Potlatch tied it before bricking a serve. With Hibbard serving Prairie got a kill each by Mikayla Rowland, Kenly Forsmann and Schlader to get to match point at 14-10. Unfortunately they were unable to scored another point as Potlatch scored 6 straight to win the match.
