Booster Bulletin
It's go time!   Another year firing up.   Academics and Athletics.   The Prairie Booster club is excited to be a part of the great tradition of success here in Cottonwood.   Great kids who will do great things. 
We are off to a great start.  Homecoming festivities with plenty of peppy attitudes.   Athletes dedicating hours to practice putting their teams into the mix come state time.   Back to the books with great teachers to guide our students along.  
So, lets all jump in and support these kids in all the ways possible.   Encourage them to study, encourage them to be active in sports,  encourage them to learn and grow and be the best young people they can be.   If you are looking for an organization to join,  there are a few.  Prairie Booster club always appreciates the members who join and any help at our burger barn and any other fundraising event.   Come join us and help us figure out how best to help our kids succeed. 
Booster gear, shirts and other items are available to order by Friday the 25^th.   Cool gear to support our schools.   Thank you, Cara Uhlenkott, for working on this each year.   Order forms can be found and dropped off at either Prairie School office.   Thank you to Shane Chapman who did the designs for the cool gear available. 
I can’t say enough about the people who volunteer their time and efforts.   Its great living and working in a place where the support for our youth is so great.   Last year at the awards ceremony at the High School I asked each student to find someone they greatly appreciated for some reason.  Big or Small.  And express that appreciation.   I’ll just remind everyone, we can all benefit.   As a recipient it makes the effort feel very worthwhile.   As the one showing appreciation, knowing you also can help make others’ lives better really matters.   So, lets all find those moments when a little appreciation makes lives better.  As Always, Go Pirates!!!
